Well, it’s already happened in some parts of Australia - although it’s eased up now.
The very long, very harsh lockdown of Melbourne, Australia’s second largest city where I live - about 250 days in lockdown - was excessive and unjustified, given the level of threat.
Targeted interventions to protect small, particularly vulnerable populations in areas where health care is generally inadequate is something entirely different - and that’s what is happening in this current case.

I guess the same way the fear bros slept at night 18 months ago when they said Covid had a 4% death rate and that this “novel” coronavirus was gonna wipe out millions of Americans in just a few months. I hold hysterics like that partially responsible for the Covid nightmare we’re still living today.

“Australian quarantine camps” - a search for that on duckduckgo shows nothing but alternative news sources. No MSM news about this at all. Insane! Townhall is the closest thing to straight news that I could find but it’s only about the construction of them.
That’s a funny kind of quarantine camp with no fences or barbed wire circling it. And trees between the buildings. And only a parking lot with some civilian cars in it.
Are there communal showers between the prison and the crematorium?
