Nicholas Sandmann @N1ckSandmann

I look forward to getting in touch with Kyle. He has weathered this trial with grace and I will continue to help him hold the media accountable in any way I can,

He did not. No possible way. That’s what he sued for and the cases settled.

No one knows how much he actually got, but some don’t think he got much at all and that Loon Wood probably got a big chunk of it.

The actual settlement amount has not been released. It is certainly less than $250 million, and probably much less.

“big, easily seen gun.”

Yeah me neither. My two oldest sons are 0331 Machine Gunners in the Marine Corps…….. (sarc)

Question for you, who should defend private property?

Kyle did everything right. You should be ashamed at the slightest insinuation he provoked anyone. Your comment falls right in line with the scary black rifle liberal commie bologna,

This would be a totally different country right now if even ten percent of the men had half the courage and will power that Kyle Rittenhouse exhibited.

If that long rifle is the only weapon they can have legally, then it is better than nothing. In reality, the ordered stand down by police killed two men and maimed another.

My understanding is that he was awarded nuisance awards, which is about fifty-thousand per lawsuit. He will be ok, because that has paid for his future so it’s definitely a good thing.

He didn’t get millions, though I wish had. I hope Rittenhouse does better.

Though undisclosed, the settlements are almost certainly in the millions or tens of millions. No one would settle for pennies on the dollar.

“Question for you, who should defend private property?”

A friend who was former Marine Special Forces said one of their guiding principles was “warriors never win”, meaning first try to think your way through a situation.

I’m just an individual that doesn’t align myself with groups such as the black rifle whatever.

We Americans are working our way through the various problems that the media says we have without significant violence. The rioting in recent months including the Capital scuffle are pinpricks.

Our major causes of personal harm are at the personal level — the bad side of human nature, temptation such as drugs, risky behavior, ...

Should I defend my private property? No, because it is just property and anyway it’s insured. I’d defend myself and my family.

It’s hard to say what a person would do in a tense situation.

I hadn’t heard that one. What do you mean?

The governor and mayor ordered police to not stop the riots. If the riots had been handled properly by the government, Rittenhouse would not have had to be there to protect that business.

If I decide to leave FR one of these days, it will be because too many Freepers can’t spell.

Saw Nick last night with Hannity. He sure has turned out to be a poised, articulate, handsome young man. Such a difference from the scared, bewildered teenager from a couple of years ago. God bless him, and God bless Kyle.

Thanks. I’d forgotten that piece of the puzzle. Crazy, man!

“The actual settlement amount has not been released. It is certainly less than $250 million, and probably much less.”

That’s why I was asking. I knew $250M was not going to happen with one suit, but if he had many suits, then perhaps that number could be in play. But as it is, what I hope these guys do is give a reasonable settlement to the first org willing to play ball, and the sue the crap out of the others (now that Sandman/Kyle have enough cash for life).

The bullies made a serious miscalculation when they went after him. They expected he would take his beating, curl up in a ball and hide, never to be seen again. Instead what they ended up doing was forging a weapon against themselves, with a mission. One of the great misfires of history right there.

By that comment I take it you have never had to file a major claim. Between criminals that can make stuff disappear never to be seen again, non-enthusiastic law enforcement when it comes to property crime and insurance companies that won't pay up, welcome to crap creek without a paddle. Your choices are to make sure you don't get ripped in the first place, or if you do, don't let them get away if you or good neighbors are alerted. If they do, be prepared to do a bunch of sleuthing yourself, though understand that even if you do catch up to them, your stuff will probably be long gone not to be found anyway unless you moved fast.

That is true. I meant that I wouldn’t kill someone over property.

That's fine, whatever works for you. Just giving you a heads-up on the reality of property crime and insurance claims.

What is that reality. I just don’t know. Not trying to be a smart aleck.
