We have a couple devices using a server somewhere. Sometimes they work OK, other times the take so long to react, we start to wonder if they broke. I sure wouldn’t want a car depending on some one’s server to start it.

You mean they need some kind of link over the net or other connection?

WTF?

What a silly thing for an automobile.

Worthless for a militia that needs to go local and is decentralized.

Too bad. Back to the F150 I guess. LOL!

I’m old enough to remember those car-crash jokes, “If Microsoft Windows was an automobile...”

What happens when you’re on a long distance trip with your EV and you misjudge the distance to the next charging station and you run out of electricity?

My truck has roll-up windows and a standard transmission.

I am the server.

The true purpose of electric cars is the same as for digital currency and smart meters for power - gov wants to be able to shut you down at a moments notice when they don’t like you.

I suggest these cutting-edge car owners invest in a traditional gasoline-powered generator so they’ll be able to drive their non-gasoline using cars whenever they’d like to ... you know, like regular people.
