I seen it before Rifleman too.
Injuns, guns, bad guys getting shot, men chasing women instead of little boys etc.

Probably has to do with Hop Sing or maybe Indians. But “Bonanza” always had episodes dealing with prejudice and other social issues, so it should get some credit for that. Of course, since we live at the apex of human development and in a time of unprecedented purity of heart, mind, and soul, few things from the past are likely to be good enough.

Buy the original DVD’s of the old shows you love while you still can.
I've been doing that since I realized the phrase "you will own nothing and be happy" was coming true. Some dvds are getting hard to find though.

Johnny Dollar is played regularly on XM Classic Radio (#148). My favorite is Burns and Allen, though. Listening to that, there was a lame joke about a colored version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde called Dr. Amos and Mr. Andy. No warning on that station.
