SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was killed after being hit in the head with a skateboard in an act of self-defense during a fight in a Santa Ana Starbucks.
Around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, a fight broke out between two men in the 3300 block of South Bristol Street. Authorities received calls regarding an assault with a deadly weapon inside the Starbucks.
After authorities arrived, a man in his 50s was transported to Orange County Global Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
The other person involved, a man in his 20s, remained at the scene. He was taken to the Santa Ana Police Department for questioning.

The typical skateboard weighs around 5 to 7.5 lbs (2 to 3.4 kg) with all components attached. That includes the deck, trucks, wheels, bearings, and hardware. However, some skateboards can weigh more or less than others depending on the components that you purchase.
No one wants to have 7.5 pounds of laminated wood and steel upside the head.
Weighs nearly 4 times more than than an average Louisville Slugger.
Other than my ccw I have a full sized hickory drift pick handle in each of my vehicles within easy reach. Perfectly legal, and perfectly devastating.

Even better, I’ve seen “youths” walking around carrying folded up “Razor scooters”.

It would be a shame if a bunch of patriots went to one of these Antifa gatherings and focused on those with skateboards. They bring them as weapons and should be treated as such.
We could start mounting them on our walls as trophies, along with a photo of the moron after unmasking them. They hide behind the masks, step one should be to grab them - it’s so coincidental that the mask mandates happened at the same time as these riots.
