I went a a couple weeks ago. Definitely a lot more than the last few years. Hanging out in a different spot. A huge crowd there, though.
Natural Bridges had more than last year, but it's still not much. That was about a month ago.

It took a whole 10 sentences for them to mention climate change.
They are slipping.

Educators say climate change, pesticides, and wildfires that wipe out Monarchs survival plants, can impact monarchs’ migration.
But there is still hope, such as replanting nectar plans or milkweed, which monarchs need.
“So we have to understand that we individually we can’t do anything, but together we can. We can change the planet. It’s not too late to bring them back in the right numbers,” Layne said.

The great western monarch migration is a natural wonder. But to be clear, there are an abundance of monarchs all over the country. Everyone loves them and the milkweed crop throughout the midwest is flourishing as a result.
To: nickcarraway
I had LOTS more monarch caterpillars on my milkweed plants this year, so hopefully that means more are maturing and making their way south.

My late wife would love this. She’s from Monterey.
