Apparently, former Vice President Mike Pence is just as delusional as the rest of the Conservative, Inc., establishment faction of the GOP. That milquetoast man, according to a Newsweek report and CNN segment, thinks that he’s ready to pose a “major challenge” to Trump if Trump decides to run in 2024.
The report, which relies on Alyssa Farah, a former advisor to the former VP, details what Pence sees as his selling points and, hilariously delusionally, presents Pence as someone that might actually challenge Trump in 2024.
Farah, who has been highly critical of Trump since the 2020 election, went on CNN and detailed what she thinks Pence might do as the nation and party gear up for the 2024 election.
Specifically, she not only said that she thinks Pence will run and that the field won’t clear itself for Trump, but that “the coronation of Donald Trump would be the worst thing both for the party, but more importantly the country.”
Apparently, accepting Trump as being the candidate most likely to beat whoever the Democrats have to offer amounts to a “coronation.”
But Farah doesn’t stop there. After declaring that she hoped Pompeo and DeSantis would also try to get in the way of Trump, she elaborated on what she saw as Pence’s winning characteristic, his milquetoast manner:
“I think Pence knows that he’s uniquely positioned in that he can tout the record of things that so many Americans are still—still wish he were in office. The 74 million people who voted for Trump but without a lot of the downside.”
Apparently, Farah sees Pence’s lack of fighting spirit as something that will help him put up a “formidable fight” against Trump.

If he is to be politically rehabilitated he needs to accept its necessary ! Even if he thinks he did nothing to deserve it. It doesn’t matter what he thinks, the politcal reality is he did. (Even if that reality is technically wrong ! Note: Not saying it is or isn’t !) He then needs to take a page out of Nixon’s book swallow some crow and go back to Indiana and run for governor, senator, congressman, state legislator even county commissioner. Show he’s MAGA in actions and public statements. Go out and work for MAGA candidates. Avoid all anti-Trumpers and don’t be goaded\tricked into anti-Trump\MAGA statements. Then maybe rehabilatation is possible.
He won’t, his ego won’t let him, that in itself shows he’s not suitable.
However, I think there is a deeper mechanism at play: The "Kingmakers" in the Republican party don't want to pick a winner. They enjoy being the trod upon party.
They would rather be doormats than doers.

Pence is dead to me until the day Trump reveals Pence played an elaborate role in a sting operation against the deep state for our side. Seems we are far from that.
I wonder about him. Something never seems right. He comes across as uncomfortable in his own skin as RINOmney.
It could be the Lamar Alexander thing. Just run for President every four years just to say you ran for President. IDK.

Pence has a 0% chance of ever winning the Republican nomination in 2024.
My prediction is if Pence or Pompeo run in the 2024 Primary, they will be “stalking horses.”(Whether they know it or not)
They will just further splinter the already disorganized anti Trump vote.
Every Republican/ RINO is gonna try to run - they know there is gonna be a red wave in 2024 so they think they can ride in on the wave.

Then again, if you stay home and not vote, that’s exactly what the liberals want good conservatives to do. That just makes their elections that much easier.
Formidable? Formidable? That word with Mike Pence does not compute.
