"This year, more than 550,000 deer hunters will head into the woods and fields of Michigan to try their luck at bringing home tasty venison to feed their families," the DNR said in a written statement. "We want to remind hunters to be safe in the field and back at deer camp."

Unvaccinated hunters who are camping with people outside their household should keep the following safety tips in mind, officials said:

Wear a mask if you are indoors or can't stay 6 feet apart Sleep in separate rooms, tents or trailers if possible Sanitize hands and surfaces regularly Michigan United Conservation Clubs estimated that hunting and fishing generated $11.2 billion in the state yearly, according to the DNR.

Firearm season starts: Michigan's firearm deer season begins Monday, Nov. 15 Hunters contribute about $8.9 billion, or 80%, of that money.

Stay at least 6 foot, side to side…..no need to be in front on a masked hunt.

social distancing as firearm season

What is that social distance?

I have a microbiologist friend who did historical research on the 6 ft guideline. They determined the average spitting distance and then correlated that as a good number for the aerosol spread of disease.

Social distancing for firearm season? We need some fresh research.

“””as firearm season gets underway”””

What a bunch of crap coming out of the media’s brains.

Is this newspeak? I can only remember that it was called “hunting season”.

It is astonishing - THIS is what they’re worried about?

...and not going to a University of Michigan football game packed with 112,000+ people at the same time.

It’s as though the COVID ‘emergency’ is over in reality, the people have moved on, and the only place it really still exists is anytime you hear from, or interact with, government.

There’s a virtual silence on the whole ‘pills now available’ that work after infection. They have to keep up the façade that injections are the ONLY solution, superior natural immunity be damned.

There are firearm seasons and bow seasons and they largely do not overlap.

This is nonsense. Let it run its course. Nothing else will do anything but drag it out.

Is this newspeak? I can only remember that it was called “hunting season”.

I always simply assumed that there was also a "Crossbow Deer Hunting Season" from which "Firearm Deer Hunting Season" should be distinguished.

I dunno, maybe there's also a "Causing Herds of Deer to Stampede Off a Cliff Season."

Regards,

Deer might have a coronavirus, but I’m betting it’s not SARS-CoV-2.

Even the FDA can’t find evidence of zoonotic transmission.
