I find this hard to believe.
The article is a bit overheated.
My sister normally has Thanksgiving at her house. She is not holding it this year over fear of Covid in general (for the vaxxed or unvaxxed).
She is the hostess—that is her call—no drama—nobody is angry or offended in any way.
The article does not even discuss that approach.
So “they” say.
This simply isn’t true.
As Mike Rowe said:
‘The fact is, millions of reasonable Americans have every right to feel confused and skeptical. Those people you refer to, Steve – the ones now telling us that we can “get back to normal just as soon as everyone is vaccinated” – those are the same people who said, “two weeks to flatten the curve!”
‘Those are the same people who told us that masks were “useless” before they told us they were “critical.”
‘Those are the same people who told us that a return to normalcy would occur just as soon as “the most vulnerable” among us were vaccinated. Then, just as soon as “half the population” was vaccinated. Then, just as soon as we achieved “herd immunity.”
‘Those are the same people who told us they wouldn’t trust ANY vaccine developed under the last administration. Now, those very same people are belittling the skeptics!’
One even believes the vaccine “was rushed and people who are getting vaccinated are still getting sick.”

Oh, that never happens. Well, hardly ever.
99% of statistics are made up.
Hell? That’s the best you can do?
No listening to the drivel of vaxxbots?

I’ve never heard of this source before, and wonder if it’s just another pop-up gaslighting source, to fill a need for gaslighting the public about why Thanksgiving attendance may be down this year.
Does anyone really believe this? Maybe in hard-core Democrat families, but I doubt beyond that.
Other than myself, all in my family has gotten the jab. I’ve been invited, but I’m not sure I will go. I’m thinking it might be risky with so many potential spreaders. I did go to my grandson’s wedding recently but didn’t feel comfortable. I don’t generally wear a mask, but I did their. (the only one)
The hell they aren’t!
They state in the article it is not because of politics, but I bet it is. The left has hated Trump since 2015, and that hasn’t changed despite having Brandon in the White House soiling his Underoos. They do not want those in the family for the holidays who are going to argue that the DEMs stole the election. So, blaming it on the unvaccinated is just a convenient excuse. It’s politics. Has been since January 2020 with regards to COVID-19.
No one should complain. It’s the best thing the vaccinated could possibly do for you.
NINE OUT OF TEN DOCTORS …. RECOMMEND LUCKY STRIKES!
If you skip it this year, you may discover something else better that you will want to do again next year.
The MSM deliberately ignore those who have natural immunity who are better than vaccinated. That makes the whole thing a charade.
Gonna have to be one helluva reconciliation party once people find out they’ve been had:
The CDC Finally Reveals Its Estimate for How Many Americans Have ‘Natural Immunity’: 146.6 Million People

Seventy-two percent of vaccinated respondents also watch Anderson "In The Pooper" Cooper, and repeat his daily thoughts like drunken parrots.
