NEW YORK — The holidays are about to get heated — and politics aren’t even the main issue this time. Nearly two-thirds of vaccinated Americans are banning unvaccinated family members from their holiday gatherings this year.
A survey of 2,000 U.S. residents – conducted by OnePoll on Nov. 2 – examined how the COVID-19 vaccine has impacted people’s relationships with their loved ones ahead of the holidays this year.
holidays unvaccinatedAccording to the results, two in three respondents feel they cannot go home for the holidays without getting vaccinated first. Of the 65 percent who are fully vaccinated, nearly six in 10 (58%) have reportedly cut off family members who refuse to get the vaccine. Meanwhile, 63 percent don’t feel comfortable inviting unvaccinated relatives to their parties.
Seventy-two percent of vaccinated respondents don’t think they could ever get some of their family members to understand the importance of the vaccine. On the other hand, 14 percent of survey respondents don’t plan to ever get the shot themselves.
When asked about their decision, one respondent admits that they “don’t trust the vaccine is safe,” while another says they are “concerned about side effects.” One even believes the vaccine “was rushed and people who are getting vaccinated are still getting sick.”
Half of the unvaccinated respondents (49%) have stopped communicating with family members who don’t understand why they refuse the shot.

I call bullshit in this. There are to many doing this but it is nowhere near 3 out of 5, more like 1 out of 3 at the most.
No loss for the normal people. Let the COVIDiots did alone in their prison houses.

They probably weren’t that into us before, would be my guess, now they have a reason to announce this policy. Mirror image is my own policy not to attend their gatherings anyway.
It is fairly easy to reject people who already moved away and were never coming back.
As to those for whom this is an unpleasant surprise, better now than in the future, now you know and it would make for a better life to find social contacts with similar values to your own. All this family left-right tension is unproductive and I know from personal experience there is no reasoning with a leftist, once they develop that smug self-satisfied belief that they are smarter than other people, nothing changes their mind. They take care to surround themselves with like-minded people who feed into their illusions about the world and their place in it.
I have a sense of glee when I think about how things will go for them in the after-life.
We attended a 90th birthday celebration today along with 30 or so others ... not one mask in the entire building. No questions (or pronouncements) about vaccination status.
We will celebrate Thanksgiving again this year with seven or eight others, and no issue has been raised.
Consider themselves lucky.

My family’s all dead, so I don’t have to worry about picky relatives.
I only want to celebrate Thanksgiving with my fellow Kingons. If anyone dies of COVID during the festivities, we push the body out the airlock and toast to their great battles.
A blessing for the unvaxxed since vaxxed shed 25% more covid germs and have a higher incidence of sickness and death than unvaxxed.
I know someone who was not allowed to see his grand-kids for over a year, because of the COVID. Once the shots came out, he wasn't allowed to see them until he got the shot. I myself was not allowed to see my grand daughter when she was born, because I refused to take a COVID test before hand. Believe it; there are people out there that thanks to all the lies are terrified enough to do this.

I am sure they only polled those who are pro covid shots who are liberal.
Two weeks ago I, along with my spouse and two children, were uninvited to our larger Christmas family gathering because we are unvaccinated…even though we had covid in September and have the antibodies. I was stunned. I’m heartbroken, more so for my kids.
First they sow division with BLM. Now with vaxx.

Do not be heartbroken. Pity them. Your relatives have swallowed the lies of the media and government. They have decided you have no right to control your own body because the government has ordered it.
If they survive, they will learn a terrible lesson about the tyranny they have welcomed into their lives. They have built the cage of fear in which they now live.
Their future will be bleak and shorter because of their foolishness. They fear the invisible...a monster THEY have created inside their heads.
We now have a world full of such irrational people who are completely delusional.
