SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A new survey from Yale shows that 70% of Americans are now very or somewhat worried about global warming as more and more of them show signs of anxiety or depression as a result of that worry.
Noah Oderberg is a psychologist working in Oakland. He says "You may have heard of PTSD- post traumatic stress disorder. A psychiatrist came up with pre-PTSD because it's not a trauma that's already occurred. It's a fear of a future trauma so it's this new idea. And it involves anxiety and depression."
He's seeing more and more people bringing up the subject of global warming in therapy citing feelings of sadness and despair. He says in California the wildfires and smoke are a trigger. The stakes are high.

Probably a misunderstanding. It’s possible that 70% or so of 18 to 24 year-olds may feel that way, but clearly when it comes to Americans of all ages the number is smaller. Websites even had trouble with whether Oderberg came from Oakland or Auckland, so why would they get anything right?
The communist revolution is giving me anxiety and depression, however, anger is probably going to trump both of those, leading to defiance. I would say to those troubled by climate change, get angry and defy the weather. Don’t let a bunch of isotherms boss you around. Reset your thermometer, that will show ‘em who’s boss.

That’s a load of crap. If 70% are fearful then why is nobody talking about it? I don’t know anybody who even thinks about it - even the RATs I know.
