A woman called Laura Jordan posted Facebook Live videos where she discussed a “Let’s Go Brandon” sign that had seemingly triggered her. In her first video, she says:
“On my way to work, and I have the freedom to go to work just whenever, whenever I feel like it,” she said. “So, it’s Wednesday morning, on my way to work and on the corner of Beaver Avenue, Beaver and Lovington Drive, just over here by the intersection there was a sign that said ‘Let’s Go Brandon.’ And I drove for a few more blocks and I decided I’m not going to stand for that. Now, for those of you who don’t know, the phrase ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ is a white supremacist dog whistle. I’m not going to stand for that s*it. I went to the Walgreens on the corner and I bought myself a marker and like a box cutter and I came back and the sign is gone, fortunately. Um, but I will be having, I will keep all of the supplies in my car for the next Nazi racist that decides to try me cause I got time today. Anyway, black lives matter.”
