Given the CDC's record of issuing "science" based on political motives and leanings, the study was met with skepticism.
Further, a number of other studies have shown natural immunity is far superior to vaccination in terms of protection against infection. The Brownstone Institute has a solid analysis of the CDC study compared to a recent Israeli study, which shows natural immunity offers better protection.
Concerning the Covid recovered, there are two key public health issues. 1. Would the Covid recovered benefit from also being vaccinated? 2. Should there be vaccine passports and mandates that require them to be vaccinated in order to work and participate in society?
The CDC study did not address the first question, while the Israeli study showed a small but not statistically significant benefit in reducing symptomatic Covid disease. Future studies will hopefully shed more light on this issue.
Based on the solid evidence from the Israeli study, the Covid recovered have stronger and longer-lasting immunity against Covid disease than the vaccinated.
Many of the Covid recovered were exposed to the virus as essential workers during the height of the pandemic before vaccines were available. They kept the rest of society afloat, processing food, delivering goods, unloading ships, picking up garbage, policing the streets, maintaining the electricity network, putting out fires, and caring for the old and sick, to name a few.
They are now being fired and excluded despite having stronger immunity than the vaccinated work-from-home administrators that are firing them.
John Hopkins Doctor Marty MaKary is calling the CDC study "highly flawed."

I feel like you and fortunately I’m in good health so I’m just waiting to catch it since I figure we all will anyway.
I also think people should be left alone about the vaccination decision, either way they go. I’m 20 months into this mess with no shots and so far no virus. Next door guy got it, so it’s close. He’s fine though, back at work.
Not sure if true for everyone. I got the Jannsen in March and now 8 months later still have the fatigue side effect that popped up just after the shot so something is still active. Booster? No thanks.

This is correct for the “vaccine” but incorrect for natural immunity. It probably lasts a lifetime, just like with measles or chickenpox. You get it once, you do not get it again.
Sars-Cov1 immunity has been shown to last at least 20 years and provides some immunity to Sars-Cov2.

Was watching a Dr. Michael Yeadon video yesterday and he said the virus is a SARS virus and that people that had SARS many years ago still had antibodies that recognized and reacted against the Rona.
Said that SARS is 20% different in makeup but the antibodies still recognized the Rona.
Also said the variants are .3% different from the original Rona and anyone telling you you need a booster because of the variants is lying since variants aren’t different enough to be missed by the shots. You “need” a booster because the shots don’t last long, and neither will the boosters.
Yea. A lot of them died before they could get it.

yes all of that and a 100 years of medical experience with infectious disease, but even more damning is that it contradicts God, Himself. He created natural immunity and you can be sure it’s far better protection (when not compromised) than the best protection man can offer.

The more they LIE the less confidence the public has in ANYTHING they say!! Not that there is one shred of trust left to date in one word they spew today!! Think about how much money tax payers pay the hundreds of thousands that work for government YET there is not ONE SINGLE department we have ANY faith left in!! The one thing Trump did for ALL of us was to shed a bright light on the DEEP STATE and just how DEEP and expansive it is!! The ONLY way to fix this is to divide and conquer, EVERY department needs to be transferred across the country to different states they don’t want to transfer to bad one way to get rid of HALF of the BEAST!!

Actually immunity can last many, many years. Dr Yeadon described a researcher who retested people originally infected with SARS1 in 2003 with SARS1 again in 2021. Their immunity held 17 years and they did not become ill.
The researcher then tested those same people with SARS2 Covid. They were immune because there is only 22% difference in the genome between the two viruses. Many of us were already immune to COvid because we'd encountered a similar coronavirus and devloped immunity prior to Covid.
The CDC 'confused matters' (i.e., manipulated the public) by making anti-body tests seem like something they are not. Antibody tests only reveal if your immune system has been recently activated/exposed in the last few months. The CDC intentionally ignored the other type of immunity we have, the one with the 'long memory'.
