More cougar sightings are being confirmed in Michigan, although wildlife officials aren’t certain yet whether that means more of the animals are reclaiming the area as their home. Maybe Lyme Disease or COVID will get 'em.

We have been seeing them for years up there.
Anyone goes to La Branch and stops at the La Branch tavern for a rib eye steak, ask them to show you the photo of the black panther they took there.
BTW, the DNR will deny farmers claims of the big cats making kills on their cattle.

Amen. That looks like it’s near Houghton Lake, though...not the UP. We’ve got a lot of those ‘round here too. Glad my memories of such cougars are from long ago pre-marriage days for me. Probably still the same these days: they come in looking for young, handsome, muscular guys and find the place filled with old timers with their walkers set to the side.
Conversations once were "Talkin' Bout My Generation" but are now "Talkin' Bout My Medication."
