..I live close...won’t hike there when it’s wet...which is most of time from now till April...but I’m kinda old.

I'm guessing they did not fall 100 feet, they probably rolled down a steep slope for 100 feet. So some tumble injuries, but there was no massive impact at the bottom of a cliff.
