Procter & Gamble employees issue a warning to America
American Thinker ^ | 7 Nov, 2021 | Andrea Widburg

Procter & Gamble (“P&G”) is one of America’s largest corporations, with over 100,000 employees worldwide. It is putting a vaccine mandate into place for its more than 26,000 America-based employees, which will require them to get vaccinated, meet a “company-approved” exemption, or take weekly COVID tests. Those employees opposed to the vaccine mandate are pushing back. To that end, they released a powerful video warning, not P&G, but all Americans, what will happen if these employees lose their jobs.

It’s unlikely that you’ve navigated through life without ever purchasing a product from P&G. Its list of products includes Charmin, Crest toothpaste, Tide laundry detergents, Gillette razors, Oral-B dental products, Tampax, Head & Shoulders shampoo, Pepto-Bismol, Pampers, and many more items that show up in most American households.

Throughout the scary first months of COVID, before it became both manageable and endemic, rather than epidemic, thousands of workers across America kept going to work to keep products on American shelves. Now, however, even without Biden’s unconstitutional OSHA mandate, most of America’s big corporations have issued vaccine mandates.

SNIP

Many of these workers—whether because they have already had COVID, giving them natural immunity; or they oppose the vaccine on a variety of grounds; or they do not want to give up their bodily autonomy with endless tests that have dubious accuracy—are objecting. Very intelligently, they’ve made their objections public via what appears to be a professionally-produced video. To avoid repercussions, their faces are hidden, but the employees explain their long ties to P&G, the work they put in at the height of the COVID panic, and the way their employer is now forcing them to give up their principles and bodily autonomy.

Choice 5a—(can be used in combination with any of the other choices) show P & G all the love and respect and dignity they have shown their employees....by treating them like farm animals.

Anti Gillette? Yes.

Even on the basis of product quality, it is a no-brainer.

For many years all I have bought is Personna (aka American Safety Razor) in 100pk box, each blade wrapped in waxed paper. Incredibly sharp, stays sharp longer, and you can buy the 100pk for $15-$16. (not like the 4-5 blade cartridges that cost over over $20 for a 3 pack)

But again, I still use Williams shaving soap with a badger hair brush in a shaving mug. (I’m 73)

I still have my grandfather’s straight razor, which he sharpened with a fine stone and strapped it with a leather strap. (I’ve never used that)

...it boils down to this as the only choice.

P&G is big, it is important, but it is not THAT vital.

If P&G disappears, it’ll leave a void like pulling your hand out of a bucket of water. In business, nobody and nothing is irreplaceable

P&G should be REPLACED with something better.

Absolutely! Right on and good on you for seeing the bigger picture. Yes, we can actually survive without Proctor and Gamble.

Did we not learn anything from the huge global “Twinkie” crisis???

“A Twinkie is an American snack cake, described as “golden sponge cake with a creamy filling”. It was formerly made and distributed by Hostess Brands. The brand is currently owned by Hostess Brands, Inc. (Nasdaq: TWNK), having been formerly owned by private equity firms Apollo Global Management and C. Dean Metropoulos and Company as the second incarnation of Hostess Brands. During bankruptcy proceedings, Twinkie production was suspended on November 21, 2012, and resumed after an absence of a few months from American store shelves, becoming available again nationwide on July 15, 2013.[1][2]”

It’s a sorry state of affairs when a company owns your body.

Bingo. The overlords want sovereignty of our own(ed) bodies. That was/is the Left's obsession with national health care. When they can dictate what happens to our flesh and bone, they own us.

We get Dollar General’s Premium TP. I hardly buy any big name.

The exception is after market auto parts. I still get Raybestos brake stuff, Standard Ignition electrical, Moog steering/suspension, Timken bearings, National seals. They’re all made in China now but they do seem better made than no-name china stuff.

No brand names from the grocery store though. No Tyson, no Smithfield.

Fired is the way to do. That way they can be part of the class action suit for the mandate that the 5th circuit has already said has "grave and Constitutional" concerns.

Be very careful about what you sign on the way out or even what paperwork they give you and "deem" that you have signed it by accepting it. If you are accepting being fired as part of the political battle, then you better have a lawyer on retainer and tell the company to send all correspondence to him.

Good points.

This is every bit as much a religious war as it is a political/societal war for the soul of our American Republic. We must engage in battle with this clearly in mind.

When they think they are “too big to fail” it is time to bring them down a notch.

The Philistines also thought Goliath was too big to fail.

Purcell is very good, better than Tide for laundry detergent.

P&G does produce very high quality products.

I’ll give them that, but there are alternatives.

Through this mandate the government has consolidated its control over major corporations and businesses with 100 or more employees. Government is now in control of business operations. One major step on the road to total government control (communism) of the means of production.

The number 100 will soon be lowered. When will it hit the mom and pop business down the street? (soon)

They’re very clever. They created a health crisis and scared us. While we were busy worrying about survival, food, relationships, source of income, they took over partial control of healthcare. Now, with the mandate, it’s over the means of production, plus more control over healthcare.

Not finished yet. They will harass us over the holidays, claiming that they are the reason for the coming rise in the numbers. (It’s seasonal. Goes up in the fall. Down in late spring). Then, in January, it’ll be a series of economic measures that will in effect be the government saying F U to the citizens. And the vax “passport.” They can’t resist that!

2 weeks to flatten the curve, and 2 years to destroy the country.

There is nothing we can do about it. The Bible says this is coming and it is here. God ordained these days. These days will play out exactly as He said they would. And now they are here.

Preach it!

We are a nation already under the judgment of God.

I firmly believe that President Trump was our last chance that God gave us.

If we had, as a nation, repented and turned back to God, then I could see judgment being put off. We didn’t, so here we are.

Judgment is not coming because of our corporately turning our backs on God. It’s upon us.
