My husband and I were harangued today by members of the neighborhood garage band we’re in. We’re all over the age of 65 and the 2 oldest guys are “fully vaccinated.” When I mentioned that I’d had Covid in March 2020 and wasn’t vaccinated, they freaked out, asking me “why not” and saying they felt “it was their duty to society” to be vaccinated. They didn’t believe me when I said they could still get Covid. They’re usually pretty chill so I was totally surprised by their aggressive and intolerant reactions. I’m surrounded by pod ppl apparently.
When’s the last time you heard the phrase flatten the curve?
One of the most dangerous and lasting results of the “pandemic” will be the permanent lost of trust many people had in the government...or, at least in the government’s medical arm.
Once lost, it’s unlikely anyone will ever trust the government again. The best thing to do now is sack the entire CDC and FDA and start over again with different people and a more narrowly defined purpose. (Same for the FBI, CIA and the Department of “justice.”)

Let’s be objective. Seems like COVID-19 would had killed 1% of the population. If we had no vaccines. USA is an aging nation. So that’s why the percentage is higher. It is lower in a country like India because their population is much younger. Thanks to President Trump’s Operation Warp Speed, we’ve lowered it to maybe 0.3%.
