NEW FLORENCE, Pa. — New Florence Volunteer Fire Company is left reeling from the recent loss of not only its Fire Chief Keith Boring, but three auxiliary members.
“We’re doing the best we can with a devastating situation, it’s never going to be the same,” President Brandon Teeter said.
Amy is the wife of firefighter Bernie Sapp. She was a dedicated auxiliary member of the department and a mom to three young kids.
She passed away from COVID-19 last week. Days later, her mother, Connie, and sister, Bonnie, followed.
The sudden loss is why this department is coming together to help some of their own.
“Losing a second income is hard for anyone especially when you’re trying to raise three kids and Bernie, I’ve known him for years, would give the shirt off his back to anyone and ask for nothing. I feel like we owed it to him to make sure we helped them,” Teeter said.
“Bernie, I can’t fathom what that man’s going through with the family members in such a short amount of time. It’s horrible,” Orville Saunders said.
Saunders knew not only the Sapp family, but was close with Chief Boring.
“Losing Keith was like losing a pillar of this community. He gave his shirt off his back if you needed it, (he) would do anything for you any time of day if you needed it,” Saunders said.

Yes, as with quite a few diseases, it’s possible that there is an unknown genetic susceptibility. Based upon the following excerpt it appears the dead are a mother and two (presumably) biological daughters:

I found this story incredibly lacking in information. When such a multiple event occurs the reader wants to know 1. Was it the original virus, Delta virus, or vax seeded spike protein induced virus? 2. Had they been injected? 3. If so how many days after injection to death. 4. Were the deaths actually caused by Covid or opportunistic disease caused by a weakened immune system? 5. What was the treatment modality? 6. Were they just tested and sent home to die?
The vaxx killed them. If they were not vaxxed, the story would be pushing that fact.
Singapore is a petri dish island that is 90% adult vaccinated so its easier to see the effect of the vaccines on death.
Unvaccinated are dying at a rate between 4X-8X more than the vaccinated vs their % in the population (even if you don’t completely trust Singapore’s definition of “fully Vaccinated” and I don’t).
Singapore doesn’t have an Obesity problem like the US (or Blacks/American Hispanics), so vaccinated obese/other race people could die at at number lower than Singapore’s 4X to 8X the unvaccinated.
The Delta variant chews through Vaccinated people and Vaccinated people can be THE MAIN vector of spread. The Vaccinated appear to be the main vector of viral spread in Singapore.
They’ve been hiding the ball on monoclonal antibodies so well that the very effective treatment doesn’t even enter the discussion here. That treatment alone reduces hospitalization by 85% and has FDA emergency use approval. Yet , if DeSantis had not publicized it in FL, it would be virtually unknown. Where are the public service announcements? Vaxxers continue to try to use fear to stampede people to get vaccinated. It’s evil.
Yes, DeSantis is doing a great job of promoting not only vaccination but, possibly more important, also effective treatments. Consequently not only does Florida have a low case rate (lowest in the nation right now) but also low hospitalization and death rates.
And he’s doing this while fighting against mandates.
DeSantis is THE HERO of the pandemic, yet 1/2 the country, especially those in Blue Cities, still think he is “deathSantis”.

I live in Westmoreland County. Greensburg Central Catholic High School also lost 2 of their football coaches, due to Covid. Don’t mean to “fat shame”, but they seemed to be significantly overweight. A dentist that I used to work for years ago, died of Covid last week. He wasn’t vaccinated, but was also overweight. Comorbidities kill!
I read that the second coach died in a car accident on the way to the first coach’s funeral.
Singapore’s Adult Vaccination rate is over 90%, now. Its now 85% for all people. I have been watching Singapore’s Covid response since the beginning of the Pandemic, because my company has two shops that do the same thing, mine in the US and one in Singapore.
Singapore thought it could “Fauci this Bitch” - Raise the Drawbridges, Mask up, Contact trace and Lock anyone who even looked sick in a room for 14 days and Vaccinate EVERYONE!!!! and only lose 50 people out of 6,000,000 - really.
Almost 1,000,000 people (low cost labor) traveled across those drawbridges daily, when those drawbridges went up, manufacturing was KILLED and many of thos 1,000,000 were laid off.
When cases dropped in the US this summer, we were back to 100%, but our Singapore divisions only had 1/2 the employees and were offloading work out of Singapore. They had to open soon or manufacturing would leave the island forever, but just as they were loosening restrictions” Delta pops off and the “Fully Vaccinated” were also spreading the Virus.
Singapore was contact tracing & Naming and shaming “Clusters” of infection, until the “DHL Cluster”. I can imagine the complaints from little Chinese ladies thinking their packages were infected with Covid and the DHL wsa the last corporation that was publicly named as being contact traced. Does covid grow faster in fat cells? Do fat cells require more oxygen and thus overload the body's ability to supply oxygen with a weakened respiratory system? Do fat cells somehow inhibit a stronger immune response?
Someone in medical research should be attempting to learn why it is that obesity makes people much more likely to die from covid.
My understanding is there is an association between obesity and an abundance of ACE-2 receptors on the surface of cells. The receptors are potential entry points for the virus to get inside the cell and hijack the replication machinery.
