In a year everyone will be telling us how important it is to hold their seats and that they are the best options who can get elected. Look how happy people were to elect another phoney politician in VA. I’m not going to get outraged. People should go about their business. May I suggest registering as an independent an letting the GOP know you’ve left either in one of their pathetic questionnaires or outright contacting them.

Oversimplification; if there are 221 Democrats, 213 Republicans, and 1 vacant seat, and 98% Democrats voted for the first bill but only 6% Republicans voted with them,
then for the issue you care about:

98% of Democrats are bad and the other 2% are worse,
while 6% of Republicans are bad and 94% are good.

It's not rocket science as to the point of the GOP; even a caveman should be able to grasp that the GOP is the only party preventing a complete takeover of the political system by secular socialists.
