A mother has spoken of her horror after her family photos were used by Cleo Smith's alleged abductor to create multiple fake Facebook profiles.

Terence Darrell Kelly, 36, has been charged with abducting little Cleo from her family tent near Carnarvon on October 16 and keeping her captive in his derelict home in the town for 18 days.

Since his arrest for the alleged kidnapping, a web of Facebook accounts used by the Bratz doll collector have surfaced including ones pretending to be a teenage girl and a mother.

I always tell people not to put up pics of their kids and stuff on FB. I guess this trait of mine is considered charmingly old-fashioned.

no, you’re right.
Also those balloons announcing a new baby in the house can attract crazy folk too.

Monster that kidnapped her:

Thank God she was found alive. So many of these types of kidnappings don't end well:

Huge numbers of people are very weird, but no one notices until they do something really bad. Virtual culture has tossed away the social limits that used to keep everyone in line.

I’ll be surprised if he does 5 years. The HARD TIME in Australia is reserved for people who argue against the lockdowns.

How did he manage to take her without waking everyone up?

Kept everyone in line AND allowed for decent people to move away from horrible people. One more reason to divide the country... allow democrat weirdos and thugs to live with each other...and the rest of us to get away from them.

That’s the funniest pic of that kid. She’s a camera hog. I’m so glad he didn’t hurt her.

I’ve thought about that, and I think he just did it really quickly: Opened the flap, grabbed the sleeping bag with the kid in it, slung it over his shoulder, and tiptoed away. The kid probably didn’t start crying until in the car.

But it’s strange that nobody in the tent woke up. (Drunk? Sleeping pills? Were they simply dead-tired from watching after two little kids? I doubt if the cops would have given her back to her rents if they had thought either of em had had anything to do with it.)
