SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 7TH 12:00 PM CST
Falcons (3-4) – Saints (5-2) The Falcons have shown some spunk recently but the Saints... well, they managed to beat the Bucs without Jameis Winston. So.... Saints.
Broncos (4-4) - Cowboys (6-1) Broncos are the ritual sacrifice for the 'Boys on Sunday. Cowboys.
Patriots (4-4) – Panthers (4-4). Well, lookee here, the Pats have won two in a row. Guess the earlier reports of their demise were exaggerated. And the Panthers... nah. Patriots.
Vikings (3-4) - Ravens (5-2) after the shellacking they took from the Bengals two weeks ago I don't know what to make of the Ravens. OTOH, I don't know what to make of the Vikings either. I'll go with Baltimore out of habit if nothing else. Ravens.
Browns (4-4) – Bengals (5-3). Such high hopes for the Browns coming into this season. Now Mayfield is not 100%, nor Chubb, and the OBJ experiment is over having never produced any appreciable results. The Bengals ... two weeks ago they were anointed as the best team in the AFC, then they laid an egg against the Jets in New York. But they will rebound against Cleveland. Bengals.
Bills (5-2) - Jaguars (1-6). It should be a laugher. Bills.
Texans (1-7) - Dolphins (1-7). What a game! As bad as the Phish have been they have enough to beat the dysfunctional Texans. Dolphins.
Raiders (5-2) – Giants (2-6). Joe Judge still has a job? Through this game anyway... What a season for the Raiders - head coach is banished for ten year old emails and now their rookie WR his headed to prison. Fortunately they're only playing the Giants. Raiders.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 7TH 3:05 PM CST
Chargers (4-3) – Eagles (3-5). What has happened to my Chargers?! Consecutive losses to the Ravens (okay, that was on the road) and the Patriots at home in LA (I almost typed SD!). But Philly... this team has no identity and it's hard to believe they are only three years removed from a championship. Chargers.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 7TH 3:25 PM CST
Packers (7-1) - Chiefs (4-4). No Rodgers means no way no how the Packers can win, even against a struggling KC squad. Chiefs.
Cardinals (7-1) - 49ers (3-4). A little hiccup by the Cards last week but they'll recover. Cardinals.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 7TH 7:20 PM CST
Titans (6-2) - Rams (7-1). The Titans are simply not the same team without Derrick Henry. Rams.
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH 7:15 PM CST
Bears (3-5) – Steelers (4-3). The Bears will continue their inevitable descent towards another rebuilding campaign after cleaning out the front office. And the Steelers.... they were supposed to be having a down year, but Mike Tomlin is using duct tape and bailing wire to somehow keep them going. Steelers.
Good Luck Everyone!
I guess Purdue is for real!
A big let down after their big win last week....
Wake Forest is out of the discussion
Wake was trying to make it difficult for the pollsters but UNC solved that issue today. They may still win the conference but are out of the playoff talk...
The pretenders are eliminating themselves faster than I expected.
Next week,
