Denver just tried to fill nearly a thousand jobs at their airport. They had only 100 people show up for a job fair where they expected more than five thousand.
Just two percent of their expected turnout.
As a "federal" place all employees must be jabbed. Nobody wants the jobs and that's why.
Literally nobody will take the job if it comes with a jab mandate.
Further, and equally bad news, it doesn't matter if you "today" say you won't impose one. You might be lying; indeed it is a fact you are lying if your firm employs more than 100 people or does any business with the government, right? Further, even if you're not lying about that (and you are) a large percentage of employers are once again requiring employees to wear masks. Not give them the option, which is fine -- they're demanding it.
There are multiple places around here who are doing that and can't get employees. They go so far as to put out "come interview and get hired NOW!" signs -- but nobody shows up.
You want to know why we have a supply chain disruption?

Of course it is -- and further, whether you claim you will impose it or not the lie has been repeated too many times.
"The vaccine will be strongly recommended, but voluntary" said Biden. That evil piece of **** lied, didn't he?
"Get the jab, you won't get Covid!" We now know that's false.
"Get the jab, you won't give it to others!" We know that is false.
"Get the jab, you won't go to the hospital, get really sick or wind up on a ventilator!" NOW WE KNOW THAT'S FALSE TOO.
"Get the jabs and you're fully vaccinated!" Except now the CDC says, well, maybe not if you don't get however many boosters we demand at some point in the future.
"Now that vaccines are available you can take your masks off and we are returning to normal life." That lasted about a month didn't it; what are they doing to your kids in school again?
Why should anyone believe a hiring manager, HR professional or CEO?
Why should anyone believe Biden, the CDC, Fauci or their doctor, all of whom have lied repeatedly?
Why should anyone believe voting "R" will fix it? Trump lied too and in fact Trump was the one who put the $30,000+ bounty on your Grandmother if they intubated her! It was his HHS secretary who expanded the "PREP Act" protections and allowed the hospital to kill her while protecting them from being sued if you, or she, wanted to use a drug off-label and they refused.
You can't just promise anymore folks. Nobody will believe you.
Nobody will work for you.
Oh sure, there are sheep -- anyone who you see with a mask on outside, or in their car, or at a job -- Baaaaaaaaaaah!
Except..... with half the population either "laying flat", doing only what they must to not get fired, and the rest refusing to fill open positions and put up with the bull****, how do you think that "supply problem" will be addressed and why should anyone take a job from any firm when whatever they tell you will, the next day, be proved to be a lie?
No, now you're going to have to prove you're not full of crap because your credibility is gone, and with good cause.
Everyone who wanted the Covid-19 vaccines got them by June. It was trivially easy to do so if you wanted it and judged that it was worth the risk in your personal set of circumstances. Biden and the rest should have figured it out right there: Less than half the population figured this was a good bargain and that was probably overstating the case; the promoters, the producers and the government all lied that you'd "not get" Covid if you got jabbed to get that much uptake!
Plenty of those people who got the jabs originally now regret it even if they had no bad side effects because some of them got Covid anyway after being promised they wouldn't and some got hammered too, which they were also promised wouldn't happen.
They were promised that they could return to their normal life if they "just took a jab" but that was a lie, wasn't it?
Why would they do it again?
Why would they trust you?
Even if someone did get jabbed why would they come work for you now? How long before you tell them to take another shot or lose their job? The CDC is already threatening to do exactly that. Indeed Biden's Administration has now said that everyone in the world must be jabbed if you want "normal" ever again!
Sorry, hiring managers, CEOs and Mr. LoadedDepends-in-Chief, nobody believes you -- even those who once did.
Even among those who did what you asked thinking you were telling the truth a very large percentage don't believe you anymore. They don't believe the jabs work or they know they don't because they took them and then got Covid anyway. They don't believe you'll let them return to normal life no matter what they do. They have no reason to believe any of it because you've lied repeatedly and you've screwed those people repeatedly. Many of them worked without proper PPE or any at all for months or even more than a year on the claim they were "essential." Now they're disposable unless they consent to a dangerous medical procedure they do not want and you reserve the right to change the rules any time you'd like now or in the future.

No, let's be clear: It's **** You Biden, **** You Rochelle Walensky, **** You Fauci, **** You Corporate America and **** every single screaming jackass from the media to the street corner Karen.
When you expect 5,000 people to show up for a job fair, have one thousand open positions and get one hundred people who show up you have an "approval rating" of your mandate policy that is in fact two percent.
That means 98% of the population would rather eat you, your wife or kids when they get hungry rather than show up for work and earn a wage. They're either convinced you're 100% full of crap or -- just as bad -- they're convinced they're going to die if they step out their front door no matter what they do. Either way they don't believe a damned word that comes from any of you.
It's not about the job, whatever the offered wage -- it's about your lies and your repeated demand to change the terms after the fact, claiming that something will occur if someone just does a thing when you never intended, even once, to fulfil your end of the bargain.
What's worse is what do you intend to do to fix it? Short of a whole lot of people committing Seppuku on live television after recanting along with a law that not only bars all such mandates but includes mandatory capital punishment that can be summarily enforced by any citizen should any attempt be made to do it again how do you get anyone to believe you? The last 18 months have been nothing but lies and these were not mere political lies as we're all used to either; they reached directly into your personal medical status, your life, your job, your ability to breathe clean air and even see other human faces and there is zero reason to believe any of the people responsible will ever stop it voluntarily no matter what they promise.
Nobody in their right mind will offer to work for someone who they believe will******them as soon as they have to take a piss. This is no different; your personal medical status and medical decisions are none of anyone else's business and these *******s' demand to insert themselves into that decision with their mandates is exactly identical in terms of violating one's bodily autonomy and rights as is a rape.
Politicians, CEOs, school board members, teachers and others who insist on reserving the right to rape anyone in their presence should be very happy that all they're getting back in response are empty job slots and no employment applications to fill them.
He only annoys me on a couple of points - when he blames us, the readers, for not hoisting the black flag, and I also dislike his Trump hate.

Federal job means peeing in a cup and has for 40 years. Weed may be legal in the state, because the state is greedy for the tax dollars, but it’s not legal federally. And it’s way more potent than back in my day, so it’s going to linger longer in the body. Which means even a social pot user will probably fail the pee test.
States legalizing drugs has consequences.
