Who do you think should have replaced RUSH???
me too.
Chris Plante on WMAL/ DC.
By the time the left started pushing back on Rush, he had already developed a sizable following. Any attempts now will be met with *massive* negative press to try and prevent anyone from approaching the status Rush had.
I agree. I like all those listed here, but there’ll never be another Rush.
Lars Larson.
No replacing Rush. It would be like replacing Trump. I listen to Steve Bannon on War Room everyday. In fact he’s had Snerdley on a few times as a guest.
No one will ever replace Rush.
I’m listening to Rob Carson on WCBM right now. He was one of Rush’s comedy writers. He just said he’ll have some syndication news in a few weeks.
That’s how it should be done.
I’ve heard Sexton and Travis and get insulted that they use Rush’s EIB bumper theme’s.
I’ve said all along that Rush Limbaugh created an entire industry. Many younger talkers directly credit Rush for their inspiration of getting into talk radio.
The 12-3 ET slot should be left wide open. Talkers will come in, some will get small and medium syndication deals and maybe in a couple years one or two will rise to the top and become a tier one talker.
I like Bongino. Travis and Sexton are OK, but they’re not yet tier one talkers.
I don’t know but certainly NOT Charlie Kirk.
Agreeing with everyone that no one can truly replace Rush, but Rob Carson reminds me of him somewhat, because of his humor etc.
Most of the others mentioned really aren’t that funny.
James Golden?
Oops’ I meant to say NOT Buck Sexton.
Me too.
I think Rush would have appreciated Jesse Kelly in his chair.
He’s entertaining.
I like Mark Steyn too.
That said, I would rather listen to three hours of Rush’s bumper music than tune into his current “replacements”. No way this works out for me.
Dittohead Circa 1989
Mark Steyn.
No replacing Rush.
+++++++++++++++++++++++
Ditto on Rush.
I also listen to War Room. I have subscribed to Bongino’s podcast ... depending on the description of what his topic is, I’ll listen to all or sometimes part of it. Jack Posobiec has his Human Events Daily podcast up now - about 20 minutes, usually covers 3 very interesting topics - I like it.
Dan is a capable radio host and better then some. Given that Rush was irreplaceable, I would have preferred mark steyn who could add a bit broader historic context — and he sees the humor in our current awful predicament like rush did. Thus, more entertaining than many commentators imho
Wayne Allen root smart optimistic funny
