Who do you think should have replaced RUSH???
Also, radio is big enough to include different options. Grace Curley is very entertaining, but a lot different from Rush. Buck Sexton is alright, though Rush fans probably won't find him the ideal replacement. I'm not sure how much Clay adds. Maybe Buck is too New York?

Golden (Snerdly) had his own radio show for a short time, I believe. I know I did hear him, and liked him.

Nobody can replace Rush. Lots of people can host conservative talk, but there was only one Rush.
Yeah, I miss Rush every day and think of him during his time slot.
I am thinking that Clay and Buck were picked for the Rush time slot as an effort to bring in new listeners, especially younger people. The program will always have dedicated long time followers but needs to grow. I have been puzzled by the current selection because they are both talented but do not have the experience or personality appeal that the Rush audience was accustomed to. Clay and Travis are more suitable for a local station. Perhaps somebody will emerge to blend the new listeners with the Rush followers and the content of the program will broaden to accommodate both.

I agree with your take on Kirk, however what I meant to say was that Buck Sexton can’t be his replacement, he is currently occupying Rush’s old time slot in my area. Nothing against Sexton, he’s just no Rush Limbaugh.
Thanks. I guess I have heard about this, but forgot about it because I’m looking for a podcast version of the show. I haven’t found his radio show in podcast form yet. I’ll see what I can find at that link.
I moved away in 2014, but KSFO was my go-to station until they fired Lee Rodgers because he called out then-owner Citadel's CEO Farid Suleiman for his anti-Muslim censorship.
I reluctantly still listened because there really wasn't any other game in town. Melanie Morgan had been previously fired and then reinstated, and former CBS affiliate weatherman Brian Sussman, who left TV and became a KSFO fill-in host, took over Rodgers' spot on The Morning Show.
Then they fired weekend host Barbara Simpson, and morning comedic side-kick Tom Benner (Officer Vic), and I was done.

It is ridiculous to say Mark Steyn should have replaced Rush. He never hosted a show permanently. He didn’t sound like he was doing a radio show.
Pat Buchanan or Newt Gingrich or Tucker Carlson or Steve Bannon.
Somebody that is more nationalist like Trump and less libertarian.

I was a 24/7 member and loved Rush for his humor and self deprecation a lot folks failed to understand
But he was no activist
