A flight attendant for American Airlines suffered broken bones in her face and had to be hospitalized after a passenger allegedly attacked her Wednesday in an incident the company’s chief executive called “one of the worst displays of unruly behavior we’ve ever witnessed.”

What is wrong with people, seriously? Don’t punch anyone. I want to know more about who this person is, so I can hate him some more.
What is wrong with people these days? We have lost our collective minds.
What’s wrong? CoVid and lockdowns and a butthead for president have made every one crazy. We HAVE lost our collective minds, and a bunch of ne’er do well idiots forced it onto us.
I was a flight attendant for more than 2 decades. One man that stands out to me was also in first class. We were getting ready for departure and I was collecting the 1st class pre departure drinks so we could push off the gate. Prior to the door closing, we were required to make sure all overhead bins could be and were closed so as I reached for a window seated passenger’s empty glass, I glanced up to the back to make sure they were all closed. The aisle passenger screamed at me, “YOU WILL APOLOGIZE FOR REACHING IN FRONT OF ME FOR NOT SAYING EXCUSE ME!!!!!” I always excuse myself as I reached across someone but was focused on the predeparture duties and would have apologized for the reach after I took my eyes off of coach but wasn’t given the chance.
Seasoned 1st class pax know the drill and I was alway so cordial, kind and proper so I was shocked. We are sometimes rushed to get the cabin ready and they are always grateful for any amenities I could squeeze in such as a mixed drink for everyone. I was so shaken but we were already moving and it was too late to deal with him as the pilots were very busy- I think we were coming out of LaGuardia. The entire flight, he was seething with rage at me and as he was deplaning, he stepped on my foot and put his entire weight on it. I didn’t report him but wished I had. I was shaken and shaking the entire flight.
If you are that guy, I hope your life sucks to hell. You are an angry mentally ill man who bullies and abuses women.
Why is his name still being concealed?
I saw him on the news last night, masked and arrogantly strutting away with hands bound behind his back.
Surprise! He appears to be Asian.
My guess is he was cranked up on some kind of narcotic that made him paranoid and overly sensitive. My guess is he is related to someone or some entity of wealth or influence.
This First Class fool will soon have a First Class bunk in a Federal pen somewhere.
The stewardess should sue him or his whatever for all it’s worth.

Even money that this guy was seriously drunk. This doesn’t excuse his behavior, of course. But it might explain it.
As a side point, I wouldn’t call an assault resulting in broken bones “unruly behavior”. I’d call it a serious criminal offense.
But, my enquiring mind wants to know some things. What were the respective races of those two? What were their respective nationalities? What religion re the passenger? What, if anything, precipitated the bump/assault?
Because this happened in the air in a common carrier, is this under Federal criminal jurisdiction?
Kind of sounds like Alec Baldwin.
Oof. I also had a George Costanza looking guy punch me in one of my breasts after he cornered me in the back galley. Everyone had deplaned and I hit the floor which was witnessed by a caterer who helped me to my feet. The guy ran off and security wasn’t able to locate him. He didn’t check any bags and was a late pax so he took any seat. We couldn’t find him by his seat or anything. I think he thought I had breast implants and was trying to severely injure me.
Oh, and he was mad at the airline because they made him check his oversized bag.
Flight attendants should be allowed to carry mace.
Tough call. I’m sure there’s more to the story, but given the behavior of some of the flight attendants regarding masks and very young children or infants, I’m not inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt.
That guy sounds like a complete b*stard! Some people are butt hurt with being jealous of others and feeling sorry for themselves. They look for any excuse to assert what they define asbtheir authority. Any excuse.
This same mentality leads to stories about waitresses at Applebees being jumped on by six extra fat non tippers, after the waitress accidentally brushes a customers shoulder with the menu folder.
>>I’m not inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Really, so you are OK with adult males punching female flight attendants when they feel slighted in anyway - you sound like a winner.
I saw of video of him being lead off the plane. A woman was walking behind him, apparently his travel companion, and I felt sorry for her. Probably not the 1st time she’s experienced his anger.
What a d-—.
