Braves took game 1 on the road.

No way the Astros won last night. After the 1st inning grand slam, I thought the script had already been written for the Astros to lose. As Lawrence said, “Nothing is written...”
Well, I guess there’s still life over there in Houston. It’s hard to imagine the Braves would repeat last years loss after being ahead 3-1 but anything can happen. IMO Baker did the right thing moving Bregman down in the lineup and sure enough he delivered last night.
A bit more excitement in this series for me. See you guys in Houston.

Honestly, totally slipped my mind, so that tells me the games I don’t watch, or even check the score on, they win - the ones I’ve checked the score on or watched, they lose.
So, no watching for 2 more games.

The weirdo wearing pearls will sink them even if you don't watch, so you might as well watch.
Regarding moving Bregman down to seventh in the lineup, Dusty got bailed out by Minter walking Maldonado with the bases loaded after having intentionally walked Bregman to face him.
I found it hilarious that Dusty brought in Greinke to pinch hit in the fourth inning, 24 hours after having pulled Greinke (who was throwing a gem through four innings and leading 2-0) for a pinch hitter with the bases loaded. The Astros’ bullpen blew it in Game 4 just like the Yankees’ bullpen blew it in the 1981 World Series after Bob Lemon sent in Bobby Murcer to pinch hit for Tommy John after he had thrown only four innings. Both managers are living under the illusion that they have an endless array of brilliant relievers who will never get tired and thus can pull their starters after four (or, in the case of Ian Anderson, five) innings willy-nilly.
I really hate this no starter philosophy.
