Baldwin has nothing to fear in a criminal court. I'll be surprised if he's even charged.

Why?

The shooting happened in Santa Fe County, NM. Who is the DA in Santa Fe County? Why, that would be Mary Carmack-Altwies, an SJW DA who ran on a platform of restorative justice. In other words, a District Attorney who believes certain people shouldn't be sent to jail because that would be counterproductive. "A graduate of University of New Mexico School of Law, Mary lives in Santa Fe with her wife Jo, a retired law enforcement officer, and their two energetic young children."

So, tell me what you think the odds are she's willing to crucify the great and noble Alec Baldwin.

I wonder about something else in the way of responsibility of actors on the set. Aren’t they required to sign some papers for insurance purposes on what they can and can’t do? I know the insurers will demand higher premiums for actors who do their own stunts. Has to be some language on the policies when weapons are used making the movie.
