Detectives have recovered loose and boxed ammunition and a 'fanny pack w/ammo' from the set of Rust where Alec Baldwin shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
An inventory of seized items was released by authorities but did not specify the type of ammo nor whether it included live or dummy bullets or blank cartridges.
The items included three revolvers, two boxes of 'ammo,' 'loose ammo and boxes', spent casings as well as 'a fanny pack w/ammo', according to the inventory delivered to Santa Fe County Magistrate Court.
The court records also show how two leather gun belts with holsters, articles of clothing and swabs of what were believed to be blood were found by investigators.
One of the central mysteries about the killing of cinematographer Hutchins remains what kind of projectile was fired from the gun and how it got there.
Investigators hope a forensic analysis of ballistic evidence will shed light on those questions, Juan Rios, spokesman for the Santa Fe Sheriff's Department, said on Monday.
'This is a complicated case,' he said.
Mike Tristano, a veteran professional armorer who works in LA, said the inventory was vague and reveals little about the shooting.
But he told the New York Times it was unusual to have loose ammunition and spent casings on set, adding they would normally be kept in a labeled box.

Baldwin has nothing to fear in a criminal court. I'll be surprised if he's even charged.
Why?
The shooting happened in Santa Fe County, NM. Who is the DA in Santa Fe County? Why, that would be Mary Carmack-Altwies, an SJW DA who ran on a platform of restorative justice. In other words, a District Attorney who believes certain people shouldn't be sent to jail because that would be counterproductive. "A graduate of University of New Mexico School of Law, Mary lives in Santa Fe with her wife Jo, a retired law enforcement officer, and their two energetic young children."
So, tell me what you think the odds are she's willing to crucify the great and noble Alec Baldwin.
Of course they did.
The fix is in?
Sounds like murder.
Hmmm, maybe try and get prints off the casings?
The victim, Hutchins, was reportedly married to a Clinton lawyer.
Further reports have it that four days before she was killed, Hutchins had threatened to out the Clintons in a way that would send them to prison.
Yep that means it’s pretty much over except for the shouting. There still might be some civil suit but who knows.
“Hmmm, maybe try and get prints off the casings?”
The armorer removed the casing from the gun and handled it prior to the cops arriving.
Figure the exploding car would be more reliable than Baldwin with a six shooter.
Thank you foreign press for providing news that American propaganda media won’t.
Seriously!
Ooh. That’s cool. Maybe Baldwin is a secret hitman. There is a lot of rumor potential here.
I wonder about something else in the way of responsibility of actors on the set. Aren’t they required to sign some papers for insurance purposes on what they can and can’t do? I know the insurers will demand higher premiums for actors who do their own stunts. Has to be some language on the policies when weapons are used making the movie.
Halyna Hutchins was married to Matt Hutchins.
Matt Hutchins is an attorney with Latham and Watkins.
Latham and Watkins represents none other than Michael Sussman, who was recently indicted by John Durham.
“Draw the gun”, and Alec asked, “Pen or pencil?”
How fortunate.
Tampering with evidence!!
Let’s stick to the fact potential as I’ve already posted.
All those safety violations. No wonder the crew walked off the set.
Four days before she was killed by Alec Baldwin, Halyna Hutchins reportedly threatened the Clintons on twitter.
Sounds like loose ammo was laying around all over the place.
