We used Whatsapp on a cruise because it’s via wi-fi and the ships’ cellular is so unstable and expensive. It worked well. The minute we reached port ... uninstall!
I’ve been using the Roku to watch John Wick 2.
I’m too stuck in the 80s and below.
Tons of stuff in Roku land.
Pluto TV is a favorite service as well but they are really slow about changing the series rotation in some shows.
They’ve run the same three or four Perry Mason and Hawaii 5-0 episodes for I don’t know how long.
I’m pretty much the same. Lots of Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Danger Man.
Danger Man is really good too.
One man mission impossible, at least most of the time and at fraction of the cost.
Patrick had screen presence.
I lean more towards The Saint.
What I would like to see are more of the Quinn Martin shows aren’t out one of those sub channels.
Thank you for this recommendation.
METV was showing the Invaders a while back. Decades Channel did a “Streets of San Francisco” marathon not too long ago.
I just finished watching Rifftrax “Carnival of Souls” - they just issued it a few hours ago on Youtube:

I liked both of those a lot.
Even have the CD soundtracks for Streets and Invaders.
A favorite 3K is The Dead Talk Back. I guess because it kind of tries to be a legitimate movie but can’t get going.
I’ve watched them all several times, it’s hard to pick one. It’s kind of like the movie “Airplane”, you have to watch more than once to get all the jokes.
I like the Youtube playlists, because I can fall asleep or do chores, and not worry about it.
My latest fave is waiting to hear the “Golden Corral’s new slogan”
“It’s the Phone Cops!”
WKRP is one of the greats.
Love it— especially from a Tellurian-—heh heh. An admitted Earth dweller aka a “target” for databasing.
Entire thing reminds one of “The Prisoner”.... “I am not a number I am a FREE MAN!” Patrick McGoohan (great actor star of the BBC series, and a great Edward the LongShanks, passed away in 2009).
Science fiction comes reality thanks to this little freak Zuckerberg who STOLE the idea and had to settle with the inventor (so it is said, who was the DARPA log contractee, so it is also said) to “sanitize the origins” as being deep state liars. Look what he has done... worthless POS>
Last night for the first time in ages the idea of getting an air frier was talked about.
About an hour to 90 minutes later, a message from Ebay about an air fryer on sale appeared on my iphone.
Did you hear—farcebuch is to be renamed ....Meta-—for “change” what morons.
Well that's interesting. I suppose that means they don't like the way they're being perceived, overall, so they're putting on a new dress. "Meta" indeed. A step beyond, looking back? It'll probably amount to just a convoluted effort to keep projecting the appearance as a friendly neighborhood facilitator. They'll flaunt the "meta" dress and put on sexy makeup, but underneath it's still a soulless amalgamation of evil wraiths, taking advantage of peoples' trust at every turn.
Ya. He is pretty good and it is an eyeopener.
The rule: it will only get worse. Sure, Big Tech pretend that they are doing something about privacy but it is a lie. They make billions off of collecting and selling your information.
And something that is legal now, will be illegal in the future.... and there will be a record of you breaking that new law with no grandfather clause.
“There is no other logical explanation for this event other than the phone and app were actively listening to our conversation.”
Probably phone and app and GPS. That is what google does. Before he changed phones he used to get google ads for stores at a shopping center when he would cut through their parking lot and requests for him to post photos of the stores.
