After the Atlanta Braves had the 2021 MLB All-Star Game moved out of their park due to a slate of restrictive voting laws in Georgia, it turns out that baseball's biggest event, the World Series, might end up in their backyard instead.
The Braves defeated the Milwaukee Brewers, 5-4, on Tuesday to advance to the National League Championship Series (NLCS), where they'll face either the San Fransisco Giants or Los Angeles Dodgers.
The winner of the NLCS will then advance to the World Series to play the champion of the American League, either the Boston Red Sox or Houston Astros.
So, while Major League Baseball (MLB) shipped this years' All-Star Game and its surrounding events like the Home Run Derby out of Georgia, there is a chance that the World Series, the pinnacle of professional baseball, could end up in Atlanta after all.

Atlanta metro area has 6M people - 9th in nation
Houston metro has has 7M people - 5th in nation
Both of these are larger than the Boston metro area (10th)
The obvious question: what the hell are you on about?
Who cares about PR if PR is the approval of leftist wokesters? Who cares about the All-Star Game, a meaningless exhibition, versus the World Series featuring 3 or 4 home games for a championship? Who cares about the chop and the chant? Certainly not actual Indians who, despite being asked repeatedly, have no objections.
How does one legally steal signs? A writ? A letter of marque?
At any rate, the signs weren’t the issue. Signaling their hitters was the issue. You got that wrong as well but hey why not hit for the cycle?
Is it your contention that the woke left are the primary audience for baseball and/or the World Series? If not, why worry a jot about their views?

They got rid of a genuine cherokee, “Chief Knock A Homa” to be more virtuous. Now the media wants to virtue signal again. Everybody hates them.

I think it was pointed out last summer, when they moved the All Star Game, that Georgia’s voting laws are less restrictive than Colorado’s.
Few brought up the demographics of Denver vs ATL. Almost like a slap in the face of anyone promoting black entrepreneurship. Wonder if anyone is keeping score on the monetary gains?
My best friend growing up was a Ute Indian. We were kids here in GA when all that happened, back in the 70s. There were some folks trying to get rid of Chief Noc-a-Homa and the Indian’s chief too. He actually survived that round of PC but he ended up being let go by Ted Turner years later, but I don’t know if that was PC related. Probably was, considering Ted Turner.
I remember all of that being in the news and my friend thought it was so ridiculous- she always said that the Braves were the warriors and using the name was an honor not a slur. She hated the whole PC crap.

There are a lot of black owned businesses that are in the area surrounding the ballpark. Stacy Abrams did not win any fans with this stunt.

I don’t have a dog in this hunt, but the Atlanta fans have been incredible with their boisterous Indian chants and chops!

At one point last night the camera panned the crowd and a fan held up a “Let’s Go Brandon” sign. Awesome!

While I regret that my Tampa Bay Rays lost to the Boston Red Socks, the fact that both of the California NL teams, LA & SF, are also gone does little to sadden me. Having Hotlanta on top of the NL after doing a 4-2 of the Dodgers is nice!
I hope Goodell has to go to Atlanta and hand them the trophy. Shove his crap right up his . . . ..
