“(unless you want to get all pedantic, and consider pulling the trigger as cocking it)”
Pendantic? Hardly. Even Glock describe clocking as a basic operation of their pistols.
Unless you are being intentionally ignorant, revolvers (and most semi-automatics with a chambered round) will fire a live round when the trigger is pulled.
Absolutely he does.
He violated several of the rules of responsible gun handling.
Anyone who handles firearms needs to be trained in responsible gun safety and use. You cannot assume someone else did it right in connection with the gun.
No “cocking” required.
What the H3LL is “clocking” ?
Needs to make a cash offer on a Florida mansion, pronto.
A raven, with a bust of Edgar Allan Poe.
You are technically correct. Single-action automatic handguns are cocked when the slide is racked, either manually or after the handgun is fired as a result of recoil. With a double-action revolver both cocking and firing are accomplished with a single trigger pull. A single-action revolver requires the shooter to cock the hammer before firing the weapon with the trigger.

Must have forgotten about it or couldn’t scrub it
Seems obvious
Hot or Not, Arrec had no business POINTING and SHOOTING a gun at someone.
A fact that needs to be worked into every movement the holder of the weapon makes, along with keeping your index finger wrapped around the handle of the gun and away from the trigger guard until you are ready to fire. I think Alex developed some bad firearm habits during his many years of experiences.
Agreed. The PR team is throwing one of the peasants under the bus.
There’s too much money at stake. Someone has to take the fall, and it’s not going to be the big star.
A pistol is automatically cocked when a cartridge is racked into the breech.
A double action revolver can be fired simply by pulling the trigger.
A single action 1880’s replica is a different beast entirely.
I should have pointed out that single actions require one to open the loading gate and rotate the cylinder while counting to six.
The purpose is obviously the same for either a double action or single action, only difference is in the method.
“If it is a revolver, swing the cylinder out and see if all chambers are empty.”
I would add to inspect the barrel for any blockages. I knew a guy who learned this lesson the hard way. He had lent his gun to his brother. The brother used substandard ammo. A round went poof instead of bang with the result being a blocked barrel.
Instead of telling the owner about the blockage he just said it needed cleaning.
Gun owner decides to do some shooting before cleaning. Uses his good ammo. Results not optimum.
He never had much to do with his brother after that.
Alec has a thing for fake Spanish women ...
Lol, “published alternative model.” Is that when someone needs to take a picture of an ugly person?
