“Government statements, actions and laws powerfully shape perceptions of normative and acceptable behaviour. For instance, even with public criticism being high, many still perceived government approval as the yardstick for safe behaviour during COVID-19 ‘we’re allowed to do this now [so must be safe]…’. This reveals, for many, a deep set reverence for legitimate government authority, regardless of one’s personal political views.”

Goebbels would be sooo proud...

A respect for authority derives from concientious adherence to the 4th Commandment. There is an authority structure inherent in society that begins with parents and extends to those in authority. What makes for trouble are at least two major factors: children by nature do not obey their parents, and authority, if not lawful in an of itself under consent of the governed, is inherently abusive.

All stuff people would have learned had they read “1984” and “Animal Farm”.

The last two years especially have revealed we have far more sheeple in America than people. Folks are complacent and happily submit. Some may be afraid to call out evil but not ‘the great one’. I saw an article about Mark putting one in her place, “Levin: ‘Pathological Liar’ Liz Cheney Would’ve ‘Fit Right in With the Brezhnev Crowd’”, and you can give that a look at CNSnews. Send that witch Liz back to the Soviet Union and throw in her communist democRAT pals too. Liz’s dad and Alec Baldwin have both shot people ‘by accident’ now.
