He recently uploaded a video on his channel, Munro Live, where he shares on his side of the story when it comes to the recent National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (the NTHSA) versus Tesla situation. In case you don’t know what that’s about, the NHTSA is about to get a new senior adviser for safety, Missy Cummings, who has voiced criticism against Tesla’s Autopilot and Full Self-Driving systems in a paper she published in August.
He makes an analogy to football, saying this situation is like saying to the leading team to back off in order for others to have time to catch up. The tone of the monologue is not a relaxed one - Sandy really seems to have very strong opinions on this, which he details and argues in favor of.

—”When it arrives, you will do as the government tells you when, where, how, and why...”
By that time there will be no gasoline or diesel fuel for those beyond the upper ranks of the party.
Not much electric supply either.
And the ethanol component starts to go south in a few months , and term storage??? Not likely.
Should you have something that runs, you will be easily detected.
—”Self driving cars are safer than people driven cars, and getting better by a magnitude of ten every year.”
Driving an automobile is believed to be the most dangerous common event Americans face.
“In the United States, an estimated one in 120 miles was driven drunk in 1992–1993. For 1 in 7 miles driven after 1 AM on weekend evenings, a drunk sat behind the wheel. The estimated cost per DWI vehicle mile was $5.80 compared to $0.11 per sober mile. Males, those age 21 to 29, and those driving between 10 PM and 4 AM had the greatest percentage of alcohol-impaired driving. “

—” Insurance for manually driven cars will go up drastically”
My wife selected a Prius V for her retirement car and gave the Accord to our daughter.
Our insurance went down so much I thought was an error.
—” They would be .5 or less in a normal economy.”
And yet Ford is complaining that their EV sales are very low?
What is your timeline for this grid collapse?
An EV sales projection would be helpful.
”In God we trust. All others must bring data.”
Dr Deming
Battery pack replacement cost is THE deal breaker. For some odd reason, EV proponents don’t seem to want to discuss that. Not to mention disposal of the dead packs. And please let us avert our eyes from the environmental costs of the build. And not a word about the sources of those electrons needed to recharge these short haul wonders.
Just try replacing over half the cars on the road with EV’s and calculate all the Power needed to charge them daily. Talking 2030 ? Everyone’s electric use will probably double or more. No new power plants are even being planned not to mention the transmission requirements.
California already has tons of blackouts and they are soon to be loosing the Hoover Dam power and a few others out there.
You think solar can do it? Solar has to charge it’s own batteries for non sunshine times.
Your post makes no sense, and appears completely unrelated to my post. Are you under the care of a doctor?
How was/is government not the problem regarding natural resource community?
—”Talking 2030 ? “
Oh yes, I see you aspire to massive EV sales?
And you believe every word biden/aoc spew?
I aspire to have my retirement fund cross FIVE MILLION DOLLARS BY 2030! Oh yeah! ... Don’t hold your breath.
“Detroit’s Big Three automakers plan to announce on Thursday that they aspire to have 40% to 50% of new vehicle sales by 2030 be electric models as they call for billions in U.S. government assistance to meet aggressive targets, sources briefed on the matter said.”
“Last month Stellantis said it was targeting over 40% of U.S. vehicles be low-emission by 2030.” NOTICE LOW EMISSION, NOT EV.
The United Auto Workers union, which has been involved in White House and automaker discussions in recent weeks, has opposed EV mandates, warning it could put jobs at risk.

Apparently, you have no supporting data beyond what comes from biden/aoc? They may be your oracle; not mine.
—”Are you under the care of a doctor?”
Not currently, but a bit sore from yesterday’s bike ride.
Its called government regulations, federal prison time, confiscation of private property, dead people etc. for the crime of harvesting natural resources
So how was Reagan wrong in saying government IS the problem?
Haven’t you heard? Electric vehicles now come with a roadside emergency kit for just such an occasion. Includes a solar panel…….and a tent to live in until it charges.
2017 leaf... 8 bars... 35 miles on a charge.... 10000 for a new battery
So how was Reagan wrong in saying government IS the problem?
—
He was not wrong, he became the problem. If you did not live it, there seems to be no way for people who did not to understand.
Just like when I said the things that are now coming to pass are the same sorts of things that came to pass many decades ago, all suppressed by the media.
Just a bunch of frogs in a pot arguing about the temperature, never imagining the temperature will rise or even could rise.
-”10000 for a new battery”
Around here the dealers replace them for half that.
Also third party repair of the battery itself.
There had been some crazy prices quoted in Canada? the batteries were being used for home power storage.
PIF spit it out. What exactly did Reagan do to your natural resources?
Just read history, and now please go away, or continue to worship at the alter of false gods.
No, don’t challenge my assertion and then absolutely fail to back up you challenge with verifiable and supportable facts.
YOU are a waste of time, Pal.
Get back to me after you’ve graduated from elementary school and learn what a grown up discussion and debate consists of.
If someone not driving but using an autopilot feature crosses the line and collides head on with a car, killing the family, then who is at fault? The (non)driver or the car company?
Buh Bye Mr troll.
