Ivermectin inhibits cell proliferation of SW480 and SW1116 cells. SW480 (A) and SW1116 cells (B) were cultured at different concentrations of ivermectin (0, 2.5, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 30 μM) for 12, 24, and 36 h, and then CCK-8 assay was performed to detect the cell proliferation. The experiment was repeated three times, and data were presented as mean ± S.E.M. The interaction between dose (D) and time (T) effect were analyzed using two-way ANOVA following Tukey’s t-test. D: dose effect; T: time effect: T × D: the interaction between time and dose effect.

Inhibitory concentration (IC50) of IVM on the viability of colorectal cells.

According to “some” VERY BRIGHT EXPERTS, this will only work if you are a horse or goat.

Interesting that NAC reversed ivermectin’s inhibiting effect.

Ivermectin is similiar to Fenbenzadole. Both are anti parasitic drugs.
Read Joe Tippins story about his cancer which gave him 3 months to live and he survived with Fenbenzadole. Now we hear Ivermectin can help with colorectal cancer. There is something to it.

From the article:
“Following NAC treatment, the inhibition of cell growth induced by ivermectin was reversed. Finally, ivermectin at low doses (2.5 and 5 µM) induced CRC cell arrest.”
This says N-Acetyl-Cysteine defeats Ivermectin’s cancer- fighting abilities.
Question:
Does it do the same thing to Ivermectin’s covid-fighting abilities?
Ping!!

It is easier to get heroin than IVM.

Great news for all those horses with cancer! The FDA won’t let anyone else use it, of course. Not politically palatable.

Reactive oxygen species (ROS) — These are free radicals. We take antioxidants to get rid of these.
If ivermectin makes these, I hope they are only in cancer cells. Otherwise, it might be better to use ivermectin for treatment and not for prevention.

Good catch. Well, I won’t take NAC on the same day as ivermectin. NAC’s useful life in the body is very short...hours at most.

More to the point to say if you’re taking ivermectin for cancer fighting....don’t take NAC.
And if you take ivermectin at beginning of covid symptoms you probably won’t need NAC for lung protection.
