Discussion: Why you think a legal notice to officials won't work, feedback please

Posted on 10/21/2021 6:47:49 AM PDT by planner1

Feedback please. Constructive comments please.

The thought was to put LOCAL county officials, generally health departments, or a CEO, boss on legal notice of things they don't seem to know about COVID19 successes in several countries with super dense populations.

A legal notice about the latest Ivermectin Observational Studies in several countries that have happened lately in large dense populations. That would let them and you know that they know for sure and with possibly professional legal service.

If they don't act accordingly, in this case by distributing Ivermectin to people with symptoms or make it easy to get or prescribe by any doctor, after giving them time to do so, you have evidence that they knew and did nothing basically. Not doing their assigned, paid for duty.

Or they can respond trying to explain about how a 240 million population has 5% vaxed but in a few weeks has no cases and everyone is partying. One other with 277 and Japan with 120 million. Isn't that enough?

I would hope they would do what is right, if not, you could help in a possible class action case with the evidence they knew and did nothing and let's say someone died.

To go further with the process if you wanted, and it's a bit more complicated, people have used successfully for years and a lot of situations, what is called the Commercial Lien process, which is a nonjudicial process.

Like they do with normal mechanics liens for services performed. It's a old legal process.

Everyone is looking for a process that possibly doesn't use the courts to peacefully resolve these problems. This seems like a good one.

Also, what forum or social site might be good for advocating this idea on?

This video tells a little about the Commercial Lien process and has more references, there's a lot to study. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQW4q6ctv4A

This is not considered legal advice, run it by your lawyer.

It’s one thing to tell someone “I’m gonna sue you”.

It’s quite another to serve them legal notice.

One should also keep in mind though this classic piece of
advice...

Don’t pull out your gun unless your ready to use it.

I think it’s a great idea - certified mail to legal departments.

The problem is the purported context.

E.g., if you send the CEO of IBM a “notice” about ivermectin treatment, it’ll be summarily thrown in the garbage because the CEO, while a contributor of company policy, does not have input to medical recommendations. They will rely on some “trusted source” and would have no legal requirement to assign any credibility to your claims.

Companies who are doing mandates are doing it because of the legal threat to them via OSHA. They have legal departments who are all over this.

That said, getting a certified letter from someone telling them they will get sued for doing it will garner the response, “No kidding.” They expect to be sued. The plan is that the Feds will provide “cover.” The company will say, “They made me do it—they are liable.”

I am not saying your points are not valid; I am saying that having worked in the corner office I don’t think that you will get ANY response. Your letter would be received with a “not this shit again” look on their face. And it would promptly go into the trash.

This entire issue is not going to be settled in the courts. It will be settled when Chicago tosses half their police force onto the streets. It will stop when people march in the streets.

I'm not sure what you mean by "legal notice", and I actually am a lawyer. Notice is notice.

Bigger picture, there is a legal.doctrine that gives absolute immunity to legislators for the laws they pass/fail to pass. So even if you give them your info and they refuse to act, there really isn't a damn thing you can do about it in terms of a lawsuit. You can vote them out, but no notice is required for that anyway.

What the hell does “put on legal notice” even mean?

Yeah, I’m sure they’ll drop everything and get right on it. Especially if it’s from you.

Elected officials have immunity, business leaders have lawyers and layers of bureaucracy to isolate them from accountability, other then to their board and shareholders.

I think some companies are doing it for hidden deals.
Examples would be companies like Tyson foods and Walmart who will lose money due to paying for tests, chasing away employees who won’t comply, and not hiring good people because they won’t get the jab.

The only thing that makes sense to me is that they are going to get a nice taxpayer funded windfall if they get to over 90%.

Having said that, this is clown.world and losing money may be the new profit model.

Feedback please. Constructive comments please.

There is no effective recourse to be found in legal procedures of any kind.

I don’t think its the expense of tests...it is who is going to keep track of it? My brother is a Plant Manager for a large meat processing plant. The crap they have to track on a regular day is astounding—adding keeping track of who is vaccinated and who isn’t, and then who has been tested...it would be an expensive and burdensome task.

And OShA would be standing over them every second. Who needs that.

I am no fan of mandates...but walking the line like that in food processing makes me think you go “one way, or the other.”

If you think the plant managers want to add this layer of BS to their day...you are mistaken.
