“She is a classic example of how Congress and the rest of Washington DC is filled of Low-Lifes.”
My niece was an intern at a non profit in DC while in college a few years back. She told me the messing around with bosses (not her) by staff and interns, sugar daddy arrangments, hookups, “ef buddies” was rampant.
The US morals is out of control.
They want you to believe that the rest of the country is as depraved as they are and that there's nothing to do but accept it.
I should probably explain my POV a little, lest I seem a blazing hypocrite: I don’t care if people want to get crazy with drugs/sex, or whatever, as long as I don’t have to look at it or listen to it (or pay for it) and nobody’s getting hurt. However, the problem with people like that is eventually, they want to FORCE you to view and/or listen to them and wow does it ever suck. And people start getting hurt. And THEN (as in Rep Hill’s case) we have to pay for it!
That’s why we don’t want perverts inhabiting Congress. *snickers* Congress. Anyway, obviously behavior like this is a security risk and that’s why, yeah, if you want to be in public office, you should not actively do these things, and if you DO do these things, if they’re in the public record (that’s how Rep Hill got sussed, all this sleaze came out during her divorce) then DON’T RUN FOR PUBLIC OFFICE.
*Sister Rosetta Stone voice* Thank you.
Years ago I had an office in a building on the corner of 13th and K streets. It was a corner office overlooking Franklin Park.
On nice days I would go out for a lunchtime walk and there would be a lot of young women enjoying the park, all wearing very short skirts and probably half of them going Commando.
