The California mom accused of encouraging sex abuse at booze-fueled parties she arranged for young teens has long been known as a “liar” who leaves a trail of destruction in her wake wherever she goes, a source close to the family told The Daily Beast.
Shannon O’Connor, 47, is accused of a breathtaking array of crimes in Los Gatos, a wealthy Silicon Valley suburb where prosecutors say she lured young teens to “secret” parties, plied them with booze, and encouraged them to engage in “sometimes nonconsensual” sex acts. She was arrested last weekend on a fugitive warrant in Eagle, Idaho, where the source believes she had rented a home to lay low.
There were 10 underage boys and two underage girls at the home where O’Connor was staying when she was arrested—and most of them had spent the night, according to authorities.

She is also facing felony fraud charges in a separate case, accused of running up more than $120,000 in unauthorized expenses on a company credit card while working as an administrative assistant at Aruba Networks.

Bye bye.
Mom, Dad, I’d like to you meet Shannon.
“Welcome dear, how did you meet?”
It was at a... shall we say, swap meet.
“Oh how lovely, please come inside.”
This is probably the tip of the iceberg.
Los Gatos is very high end community
“Hi, I’m Shannon. I’m one of the Cool Moms!”
I figured that from the sound of it, being in Silicon Valley. I already knew it was the home of Netflix.
Freepers would be shocked the number of moms I’ve known of who screwed high school boys who went to school with their daughters....
Disgusting
If she did what she’s accused of, then she certainly is.
I’m a Christian woman by the way, and by the grace of God, I know His Son as my savior. But I would imagine that to many male Freepers, I would also be considered “guilty.”
Never mind. The Lord thinks you're beautiful.
That is horrible to believe people would say that, though in reality we all know some on here are very shallow. As the other poster said, the Lord thinks you are beautiful, man’s opinion doesnt matter.

I suspected he hears it from them in confessional, how the "curse" of being pretty results in their being subjected to catcalls and ogling etc...and the "pretty" women probably want to shoot the more knuckle-dragging variety.
Yes...a first world problem. But I know "pretty" women who've had fiancés that were abusive etc. I am not a woman nor pretty (just ask the missus...) but suspect it isn't as easy as we may think.
But that's no excuse for predatory behavior.
The use of guilty or not guilty is in reference to a travesty of justice for a female teacher, Debra Lafave, who was convicted of having sex with a student but avoided jail time because she was "too pretty for prison".

That scenario has played out in public view multiple times since then.
It's not an indictment of a woman's looks, but an indictment of the double standard of 1. male vs female sex offender treatment, and 2. how more attractive women receive disparate sentencing for their crimes compared to less attractive women.
Sounds like she’ll still have a sex life, it will just be “different”.
How many?!!!!
Where was daddy?
Were those boys your rivals?
(Insert “Stacy’s Mom” video here.)
Many years ago some coworkers and I had dinner at a place in Los Gatos. The one thing I remember is that across the street was a place called “Between the Buns.” Wouldn’t have gone in there for anything.
When I was younger, I was very pretty. Men would not leave me alone. I was even stalked, threatened and worse.
