Or you could say those hoping to get by without taking the risk of vaccine side effects and letting their neighbors take all the risk of side effects are still not protected at this time.

The human brain evolved so that we could calculate risks and choose the lesser risk.
If you don’t get vaccinated, covid will eventually find you, and when it does, you will have about a 1 percent chance of dying and about a 25 percent chance of long-term sequelae.
Now it’s time for you to answer that wherever I’m getting those figures from, they are lying through their teeth.

MSM and their Democrat colluders have perpetrated the myth that covid is a plague, but the death totals in various countries are not going up as the numbers are just being moved from one column to another. They say old habits (like lying) die hard but new ones do as well. I saw an article on the end result of the covid false narrative, “Americans Spent More Time Watching TV Than Working After Pandemic Hit in 2020”, and you can give that a look at CNSnews. And now that government money has been cut off the lazy still won’t go find work. Perhaps eventually starving will help them do so. Democrats needed an excuse to keep importing people and now they can say Americans are too lazy to work.
Co-morbidity was an actual medial thing before 2020, but just as covid cured the flu (and nobody dies from it now) covid also ended co-morbidity (dying from more than one cause). Oddly, flu used to be the chief co-morbidity!

Mostly, they were being responsible for themselves, I grant you, and secondly for those nearest and dearest, which doesn’t really make them heroes.
Only those who take it upon themselves to try to persuade others, in spite of all the arrows directed at them, for the sake of the country are heroes. Only half kidding.
The population of USA is around 330 million people. We have already had around 750,000 deaths from COVID-19. If it wasn't for vaccines, we would probably be at 3.3 million deaths. Many more will be suffering from long term effects. The nation would survive. But it would be hell of a price.

It is already draining our resources and causing economic upheaval. New York City has many schoolchildren who never came back to classses. There is a sign in almost every small-business window that says “We Are Hiring.” Prices are way up for everyday items and food.
Its toll on our health systems has been severe.
I commend the tough leaders on this issue, whichever party they belong to. They were willing to sacrifice some popularity to keep people alive and well. They did not miss their opportunity for excellence when it came along and they can now rest assured that they did their job.
