I have noticed that when people get 70 or 80 they seem to get extremely negative. I have vowed to not be the same.
Not to be unrealistic. But to be hopeful and encouraging.
I’ve read the back of the Book. We win. Yes there is tremendous suffering. But there is also hope and certain victory.
Our end brings out either Grace or the opposite which finds Evil taking your soul early on and torturous existence of those left in the world surviving without you.
Stay positive and live with Grace.
I turned 77 last month, and am upbeat most of the time. Been volunteering at our local hospital for 16 years, with a lot of other little old ladies. We all enjoy our work, it's a labor of love.
I have wonderful friends here on the beautiful Oregon Coast that I walk with on the beach nearly every day. I have my church family who have been lifesavers to me during my personal tragedies over the past 10 years. I also have my daughters, who despite my failings have turned into productive adults, and four healthy grandsons. I am truly blessed.
I'm familiar with the back of the Book, yes, we do win.
