Pete Buttigieg finally comes out of the woodwork on supply chain mess -- to complain about Tucker Carlson

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who it turns out has been away on family leave these past months as America's supply chain has collapsed, has finally come out of the woodwork.

Did he come out to announce how he's making the situation better?

Nope, what brought him out was some harsh, criticism by Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who asked if Missing Pete on family leave was trying to learn how to breast-feed. Yes, it was tasteless, but that's hardly a burning issue to anyone else but Pete, given his larger and more important point.

According to Mediaite, the exchange went like this:

“Well, look, in his case, I guess he just doesn’t understand the concept of bottle feeding, let alone the concept of paternity leave,” said [Buttigieg] the secretary. “But what is really strange is that, you know, this is from a side of the aisle that used to claim the mantle of being pro-family.”

[MSNBC host and former flak Nicolle] Wallace, responded, “It feels homophobic to suggest that you were trying to figure out breast-feeding. I mean, it feels dirtier than that. How does this attack land for you and [your husband] Chasten?”

“Well, look, this attack is coming from a guy who has yet to explain his apparent approval for the assassination of Harvey Milk,” said Buttigieg, referring to the controversy over Carlson’s yearbook saying he was in the “Dan White Society.” (Dan White was the man who assassinated Milk.)

“So, obviously, we know that there’s some dark places where some of these attitudes come from,” Buttigieg continued. “But I also note that that doesn’t speak for the country. I don’t think that even speaks for most people on the other side of the aisle from the party that I belong to.”

Who the heck cares?

I think the supply chain issues are an orchestrated crisis event to create the excuse for more government control. I have heard about supply chain problem and food shortage predictions since early this year.

Sorry, but it is real. Lot’s of evidence out there to support it.

Pete shows the country how self centered and small minded he is.
Isn’t he supposed to be helping to manage our transportation system?

Several tons of merchandise is not making it to store shelves. People arw getting nervous. Pete ignores ALL of that, in order to play the part of a bullied gay victim.

Not surprising Buttigieg seeks anti gay victimhood to divert responsibility for the supply chain collapse. It’s on page one of the left’s playbook. Buttigieg was obviously AWOL as the crisis worsen. He’s obviously incompetent. I bet F Joe fires him.

Yes this is a real crises, but as you pointed out it likely is a manufactured crises to create chaos…which it seems to be doing.

How screwed up will these two kids become?

Even if you believe in gay marriage {which as a Catholic, I do not} with pete buttplug as the mother...WTF?

They have a better chance of being sexually molested than if they were raised on the street, living out of the back seat of a car.

Prayers for the kids.

Because covid and the masks are turning into a losing battle for the rats... Create a new crisis. Never let it go to waste. All this misery the rats inflict upon us .... This too will be Trump’s fault.

Monica, his comment wasn't tasteless, rather it was a dose of reality that conservatives like you need to hear. Your movement has stood on the sideline for decades and watched America rot from within as social aberrations like Mayor Pete pretend he's normal. Sorry, I can't do pretend and neither can Tucker.

There is absolutely no reason why a man or woman, who is a US cabinet member, working for the people during a national crisis should take a twelve week maternity leave.

The next thing we are going to hear is that Petra was suffering severe hormonal changes resulting in postpartum depression.

Deep State doesn’t hire the front office types for brains.

Makes no diff if Bigbooty is there or not.

He’s not the one calling the shots.

Can you imagine that this little princess actually has an important job being paid by our tax money. I have a feeling that this f_____ couldn’t survive a week in a small factory filling boxes.

Live tracker map of Marine traffic globally

Denial just ain't a river in Egypt. We have a supply chain problem that affects the entire planet. The globalist Nirvana of "free trade" has made us and Europe dependent upon China and the Third World for essential goods. We have off-shored our industrial base and jobs.

I disagree. He could work for Hershey today. He’s an expert fudge packet.
