GOP Must Beat Dems Handedly in 2022, Surrender Not an Option

Posted on 10/12/2021 7:21:45 AM PDT by DIRTYSECRET

That means we have to pick up at least 50 House seats and five Senate seats. No less. It requires more than your vote. It requires your time, your money, your attention and your voice.

Some people still believe political [s]elections will save them.

Nobody wants the alternative. Except maybe our friends on the Left as long as they remain in power.

Pointless.

This "red vs. blue" fake conflict is meant to divert your attention from the real issue, which is that the people cannot have what they want through voting.

Given the rewards available through the political merry-go-round, why do you suppose there is no party or candidate with a socially conservative + state interventionist economic platform?

Keep voting if it makes you feel good.

But how can voting for the despised Republicans possibly make you feel good?

Simply getting a majority in each will not undo even the smallest part of the damage put into law by this Congress. It requires a majority to put a speedbump in place in regards making things worse, but to undo anything requires near 2/3 majority, and of those that will actually repeal. This is going to be painful.

so I take it you favor keeping the dems in power...?

*************

Too often it seems that even when Republicans have control the Dems are still in power. They intimidate and bully the GOP because the GOP has no convictions.

Newt had the right idea back in the day. Make the GOP commit to something to motivate people to vote for them and then hold them accountable for tangible results.

The days of “elect us because we pretend to be conservatives” is no longer enough.

I listened to Douglas Murray yesterday who is an English gay fairly conservative and pretty smart ....

“The left and progressives control all the corpora”

I’d never heard it put that way

I agree but the Republicans have no spine at all. The fundamental problem with the GOP is that the party has no convictions, principles or beliefs. The second biggest problem is that we elect (and re-elect) weak and timid people.

Corporate HR can be handled by conservative making their voices heard during the board meetings. Also need changes at SEC leadership to allow conservative sponsored board initiatives to be considered and voted upon by the share holders. Far too long the SJW crowd has used this to move corporations to support the causes of the left.

Big Tech can be handled via monopoly busting.

Education will take longer and requires two approaches. Lower education (HS and lower) can be handled by placing educational requirements (testing) in order to qualify for student loans. Want a government loan or grant for college? You need to pass this test. The test should cover basic education skills and in the government section, cover American greatness. The test should repeated and get more difficult between each degree level (Associate to Bachelors, to masters, to PHD so 2 / 4/ 6/ 8 years).

Also, change selective service to prioritize those who have received student loans over the general population. Require all (male and female) to register for SS. Require colleges to update records on SS students. Require an selective service class be taught to those students. Class to cover the constitution, how the draft will be conducted if required, obligations of draftees, penalties for non compliance.

We won in 2020. No matter how many votes are cast, the dems will steal the election and nothing will be done about it. I have no hope for our party in the future.

Not asking for much are you? Where are the five Senate seats coming from?

If we keep choosing between Democrats and Assistant Democrats we will always get Democrat policies.

We MUST elect real Republicans.

You would be surprised how many believe that. Only one thing at this point in time will save them and they all know what it is. Next year will be worse. Hell, next week will be worse. Forget about next year.

“Some people still believe political [s]elections will save them.”

Got that right, friend.

National Divorce is the answer.

Why live with or be governed by people that want to kill you?

Peace without Civil War. Voluntary Separation.
Choose Freedom first.
Then, it’s just working out the details.

“*Former progressive Republican President Teddy Roosevelt decided he wanted to be president again. Republicans split the vote and progressive Democrat Woodrow Wilson easily became president.
In less than one year the United States had a progressive income tax and a Federal Reserve.*

Take us back 100 years? If Trump is Roosevelt we’ll get another Wilson.”

Don’t be an Arse.

Our Best Prez Evah DJT would NOT be Roosevelt.
JEB!, Nimrata or any other milquetoast Bush League Pubey would be the splitter.
75 million of your fellow citizens picked a winner, twice.
But YOU know better?

You will never move ahead until you fix 11/3/2020.

The fundamental problem with the GOP is that the party has no convictions, principles or beliefs. The second biggest problem is that we elect (and re-elect) weak and timid people.

That's because those who support the republican party are weak and timid. Here are some examples:

We'll get 'em in 2022. (Not if you don't fix 11/3/2020)

I'll bury my guns. (Too late for that)

I just won't register my guns/pay those taxes (Yeah, right)

More protests in DC. (Really? Do you really think they will run out of jail space?)

We need leaders who will make a call for extreme action. Laws have become useless. We need "doers" and not "talkers."

If the Republicans cannot reverse the expansion of government there’s no hope for them. An overbearing government is at the very heart of many of our problems today. Power needs to be turned back to the states.

There’s really no point in voting for them if they won’t commit to doing this. And by cutting, I mean serious, impactful cutting to put the beast back into its cage.
