A friend sent me this video. He also happens to be a medium sized employer and after watching this he said he would NEVER hire a Harvard MBA.
I was wondering if any Freepers would have the same attitude?
Take a Seat in the Harvard MBA Case Classroom
Bush was a Yale graduate. I know, small difference. But at least he could throw out a first pitch from the normal distance.
What rational person would make a yes or no decision without facts? What is the instructor seeking to do: produce politicians?
I actually read somewhere that back then, the GI bill could get a vet there.
No, you’re just being an asshole
That’s more real-world experience than some pampered potentates ever see!
How can you tell if someone you meet is a Harvard grad?
It’s easy. They’ll tell you in the first 5 minutes.
How did he die? Perhaps he was still drunk from a night of partying and fell off of a scaffold? The guy in the beginning who said there needed to be an investigation before making a decision was the only one worth a damn. This woman is a social justice warrior posing as a teacher.
I've worked with many people from Ivy League schools in my career. For what it's worth, of the three most talented people I've worked with, two were graduates of the University of Maryland and the third didn't finish high school.
If Thomas Sowell said it, it is probably a fair observation and should be considered.
I'm not the one claiming to be the author of something I had nothing to do with, am I?
But I'm the bad guy, yep. Makes perfect sense.
Do not kowtow to HG. Just tell him to go eff himself like the rest of us do.
He decided National needed an LED manufacturing facility so he bought a struggling one in upstate NY.
This came a quite a surprise to those of us working at National's LED facility in southern California.
As was his surprise in discovering National all ready had a successful LED facility.
So of course he doubled down on stupid and shut down the Hawthorne facility and merged operation with the one - HIS - in Albany. Few employees were willing to leave sunny southern California, so National 'lost the recipe' in the move.
The new facility ultimately failed. leaving hundreds unemployed, National with millions in losses, and no in-house LED capability.
My late father-in-law, who was President of a major Boston bank, wouldn’t even read a resume from a Harvard MBA.
Politicians do it all the time!

nvermnd
Drunk again I see
My first job after college was with Burroughs Computer Corp in 1981, they hired Michael Blumenthal who was treasury secretary under Jimmy Carter....
He proceeded to buy Sperry-Univac and change the name of the company to Unisys...
The brilliant profit plan was to fire a bunch of people, reduce costs until you were profitable, when that ran out, fire more people until you were profitable and keep repeating until they lost every customer they had and have become nothing more than a warranty repair company for people like Dell or whoever will hire them...
Over the years they’ve gone from over 120,000 employees to under 20,000 and from over 20 billion in revenue to under 2 billion and are calling it a success...
Per #3, did you work in Jacksonville or Pittsburgh?
What if someone died from an experimental vaccine? Should the program be shut down?
