A BS Sandwich, sounds like. Did he commit a tortious act? None alleged, even. Who was damaged? You can't have the only damages be punitive without some real harm being inflicted. BS on rye.

I stopped watching the thie show after a few episodes when I realized that they would go all swat like and the perps were these petty small sidewalk gum spitters but they acted like they were taking down Bin Laden. Tried to go into their office (DaKine) in Honolulu about 10 years ago. They had the front door locked. Girl who came out said they did that because too many gawkers like me.

Racist behavior is not illegal. It may be repugnant, it may insult people, but it’s not illegal. That’s the beauty of our first amendment. As we used to say all the time in the 60s and 70s, I may abhor what you are saying but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

I never watched the show, but I once saw a South Park parody of it. Just offends the hell out of me that somebody’s suing him for allegedly being a dumb-ass loudmouth, which is a constitutional right.

I quit watching after the audio tape was released of him saying the dreaded ‘N’ word. It wasn’t so much cause he said it, but him appearing on Hannity bawling his eyes out and apologizing.
Say you’re sorry, yes. But to buckle like a grown baby disgusted me.

I don’t really GAGS about him or his show. The principle of the matter is what gets me. Grown men ought not to cry altogether, unless they’re into the sauce and feeling hungover or excessively remorseful. Is that patriarchal and sexist? Sure. But it’s also common sense.
Me, I’m a poet, so I can cry in empathy. But not in public.
