When I stopped, they had a wall of one gallon gas cans..... seemed to being doing a good business with gas cans 😂😂
A new experience for me in Canada...
In the process of filling my cargo van tank, the pump stopped at $150.
Had to start fresh to continue filling.
I should add that the price was 1.349/ltr and at Costco.
One of the off and on goals of the Greens is to have US gas prices the same as Europe just because they’re morons.
That’s not a “fake” headline.
Is that the one in Gordia? I stopped there for a snack about a year ago while doing a San Jose to LA drive and think I paid $5 for a lttle square brownie. Definitely tourist trappy...
There are several gas stations around Big Sur. Of course you fill up in Monterrey or Santa Barbara, not in the the middle at lonesome station... :)
I paid $20 for 6 gallons. Last year I paid $14 for 6 gallons.
$2.96 in Muskegon, MI, on the SouthWest Coast of the state.
FYI: Increasing percentages of new mainstream (not luxury) cars require premium gas to meet performance, emissions and fuel economy standards.
why do you post this crap?
Hate getting in traffic on 76 though.
This was one of the best times of the year to go because everything was open, but it wasn’t crowded at all. We did have one moment, though, when the GPS incorrectly routed us in a circle and put us on a side street, coming up a hill to 76, with a left turn required, that was a nightmare. Even with lower than normal traffic, there was still a steady stream of cars in both directions that just never seemed to have a space big enough to get out. Took forever to escape that little trap that the GPS laid for us.
Why do they care? They all have multimillion dollar homes and drive in electric cars anyway, no?
“That’s not a “fake” headline.”
No it’s not but it’s like posting Beer in Florida is 7.00 a glass. Later on you can tell them it’s at Epcot.
If it weren’t a bit of a bellwether, man-bite-dog, story it wouldn’t make the news.
Sure, you can by a cheaper type of gas, but this is looking for pretty much the highest regular price in the US—and they’ve probably at least come close to it.
Just makes you want to kiss Newsom. Suckers!

Fair point. I haven’t been in the market lately, but I know some of the compression ratios are approaching those of diesels.
They want to be like European socialists now they can waste their money too and force everyone to pay exorbitant prices and make them like it. 🤪
