A shocking video by Twitter user Youssef Disla shows gas prices at a California gas station reaching nearly $8.50 per gallon.
It comes as a nationwide surge brings new pain to the pump atop already exorbitant prices.
However, the White House said Thursday that no action will be taken at this time in response to gas prices hitting seven-year highs, the Epoch Times reported.

FAKE HEADLINE. The $8.49 price is for Premium gas. Most people don’t need it and can buy Regular gas, which is far cheaper there, at about $7.59.
7.60 per gallon? What a great deal! That’s only about $150.00 to fill your tank!

I’ve stopped at that gas station for beer, sandwiches and gas.
It’s 1/2 way between Big Sur and Cambria.
It is the only gas station 100 miles north or south on highway 1.
It is remote and gas always costs an arm and a leg there

Yeah, $7.59 per gallon would be no big deal for me. That would only make a fillup in my F150 about $250 each time. I can pass that on to my clients easy peasy. /s

I think I paid $2.77 and 9/10 per gallon here in the Midwest a couple nights ago for regular gas ⛽⛽⛽⛽⛽⛽⛽

Agree. Post #4 (h/t Vendome) has all the factors allowing the gas station operator to exploit his customer’s vulnerabilities.
My fill up yesterday at COSTCO here in northern VA was at $2.97/gallon for regular unleaded. That’s up about $0.30/gallon. Since we are just finishing the summer driving season, the higher price might due to a temporarily tight supply as they switch between the seasonal formulas at the refineries.
Time will tell.

My normal station has gas right now at $4.79 When Trump was POTUS it was $3.25 yes it is CA. so in 8 months it has gone up $1.54 a gallon!!
My wife and I were in Branson, MO this past week and gas was around $2.84 to $2.89. Incidentally, first time there and I think if push comes to shove that might make a great place for the sane people to wall off and hold down the fort (tongue in cheek). What a breath of fresh air. I’ve never been anywhere where we were surrounded by so many like-minded, Christian conservatives. I live in Colorado, so it was like several days of bliss compared to the liberal nuttery that has completely taken over here.
