DENVER (KDVR) — Texas is home to the most restrictive abortion laws in the country, and now Colorado clinics are feeling the impact.
Women are driving thousands of miles to get abortion procedures done in Denver after Texas passed a new abortion bill that went into effect last month.
The Planned Parenthood Clinic in Park Hill experiencing the brunt of it. The center saw a 520% increase in patients from Texas.
According to Planned Parenthood Spokesperson Neta Meltzer, Planned Parenthood’s Colorado health centers saw a 130% increase statewide from Texas patients seeking abortion care in September compared to August.
The Texas law does not include exceptions for victims of rape or incest, and allows private citizens to sue anyone who helps someone get an abortion.
The law alleges Texas women can get an abortion before a fetal heartbeat is detected, which can appear around the 6-week mark. However, critics argue many women are unaware they are pregnant around this time marker.

The true nature of women is shown in abortion.
They want to play God, the law lets only them play god, no one else can exercise this power, they want to legally be able to murder another person. The only class of person legally able to murder another person with the states blesing, encouragement and financial subsidization.
Killing babies. Parenthood alright.
maybe they’ll move to Colorado
Such a backlog of out of state abortions some are having to “Take a number and wait!”
So many that when their number is called their kid will be two years old.;-)
May the harridans repent of the evil they’ve done and will do.
I wonder why go all the way to Colorado. Even if you live in the panhandle, there are closer places to murder your baby.
Maybe this is just the Denver Planned Parenthood trying to do some marketing, rather than reflecting a current reality.

J-school obviously focuses on wokeness over grammar. Law doesn’t allege anything; law states.
See! They’ll be just fine, where there’s a will to slaughter a baby there’s a way.
Sounds fair to me. Serious issue. Serious enough to know you can’t do it here.Perhaps an off shore ship like they did in Ireland.
Sad to see how much “effort” is put into killing the unwanted baby, when one considers how easily virtually all those unwanted pregnancies could have been prevented, in a variety of ways, in the first place.
I thought after a rape they did morning after pill as a matter of course?
Why do they pretend that rape is even an issue for unwanted pregnancy?
Maybe they will bring back some weed with them.
