People need to understand that CNN ratings are meaningless. They DON’T CARE. The network is a loss leader for whichever giant corporation that owns them. CNN is pure propaganda and they will never die because the corporation funds them through their other businesses.
That may be true but it is satisfying to know that no one watches them. They are close to broadcasting to an empty room.

You should try to understand how CNN makes money. Carriage fees free m every cable and satellite provider brings in over a billion a year without viewer #1. So no, they aren’t dependent on ratings and no they are not a loss leader.

Thank you! So many of us still think it is 1970, and that any “Corporation” is still primarily interested in profits, sales, ratings. CNN is a dark funded propaganda machine! If viewership falls sufficiently, it will simply be relabeled as another entity. We slept while the Devil infiltrated and took over virtually every single institution. Does anyone really believe dropping ratings will actually affect anything?

Yep, AT&T needs to be hurt financially through it’s phone service or dropping HBO subscriptions before they would give two hoots about CNN.
