Curious under what precise authority they make this decision, and if they are personally liable for any consequences of this decision for people in this situation and their potentially deteriorating health and/or death?

This seems to be in direct violation of well established medical ethics, possibly in violation of Law, a direct liability to your indemnity insurance carriers, and overall a horrible misuse and abuse of science.

I’m close to being in a nearly identical situation with the very same hospital. However, not being vaxxed and citing natural immunity, there’s no way I can count on (or even expect to request) a kidney from a similar non-vaxxed donor. Best to just keep my levels up by eating wisely.

1. She has previously had covid and has natural antibodies.
2. Her donor goes to church with her and they are friends.
3. She has multiple people now willing to donate, not upsetting any donor list.
4. She has a valid religious objection to the vaccine.
