Long Covid could be caused by an overload of tiny clots 'trapped' inside people's blood weeks after they clear the initial infection, scientists say.
The small study found patients who are 'long haulers' have a large amount of inflammatory molecules trapped in their bloodstream....
The South African researcher who made the discovery said the micro clots may be the cause of long Covid or one of several contributing factors.
The new discovery came from Professor Resia Pretorius from the department of physiological science at Stellenbosch University.
Professor Pretorius compared blood collected from 11 people with long Covid and 13 healthy individuals.
'We found high levels of various inflammatory molecules trapped in micro clots present in the blood of individuals with long Covid,' she said.
'Some of the trapped molecules contain clotting proteins such as fibrinogen, as well as alpha(2)-antiplasmin.'...

My 83 year old mom suffered with this for nearly a year. It’s only been a couple of weeks now that she really feels like her old self.
Brain fog?
Part of this chatter, is the numbers involved. Some Brit studies say that 1-to-2 percent of young people (under the age of 30) who have Covid...will have ‘long Covid’ (for weeks and months). For older people (over 60), they figure 5-percent are in this category.
I had what I’d call a 2-star 12-day Covid episode in April. Full strength? I’d say around four weeks after the Covid ended (I’m 62). But I’d compare it to recovery after pneumonia...which takes a while.
Ever binge watch a television season?
That’s brain fog.
I think the vaccines have something to do with it. When I got my second Moderna, my brain was in a fog for two days.
I thought bats took care of all this.
All the people I know of that have had strokes and problems, like the symptoms described in the article, have been jabbed.
This is a perfect example of why people here in the US that had covid, survived and had natural immunity should have been left alone if they didn’t want the coof JAB. At least then there would have been a control group to compare with the JAB group. The way it is now, they are DEMANDING everyone get JABBED regardless with NO TESTING BEFOREHAND FOR NATURAL IMMUNITY.
So, how would a person know if they have “long covid” or blood clots from the JAB?
MagnoliaB,
You nailed it! All of the issues involve the injected people. If they didn’t die within 5 weeks or so.
Sounds like post-viral syndrome. I felt lethargic after influenza for several months.
It's not from the death clot shot. It's from getting the virus. It reacts differently in some people.
I've also noticed the clot shot kills people, sometimes in clusters of family members, which tells me there are DNA factors that lead to death in some people that get the death shot.
So much more testing and learning needs to happen before another person gets this potential death shot. It should have never been released for public use and needs to be pulled from the market ASAP.
Brain fog ... DH and I both were foggy after Covid, and still are to some extent. He wanted me to drop him at the nearby Alzheimer’s facility, or somewhere for assisted suicide, because he couldn’t remember anything. (He is known for high drama - SMH.) I told him to “simmah down” and concentrate. You panic and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. A few hours later he had re-grouped and was fine.
My brain exercise is to get a new piano book and sight read the hell out of it. After I focus on that for a few hours and I realize it’s working, then I can move on.
I do take Eloquis every day which I’ve resented for a few months, but maybe that was/is a blessing in disguise when it comes to Covid clots.
We do wake up with headaches sometimes which we hadn’t done before. Not sure how that’s connected, but it definitely is.
This monster that Fauci spawned is a cruel thing. But that’s how he gets his jollies and I expect he isn’t going anywhere any time soon.
Do not worry Citizen, your next booster shot will contain draino.....
Young folks
Brain fog. Brain fog clears up after your 25th birthday
Fatigue? Mebe it’s Mono
I think the next mRNA virus will be ‘better’ tuned for the creation of a new dependant, lower IQ class (from brain micro clots?), turned compliant and silent.
The 20th century futurist Herman Kahn called “Educated Incapacity” the learned inability to understand or even perceive a problem, much less a solution.
The clssic Eloi / Morlok story.
From the farm to the fork.
Brain fog is also called Covid Fog, Covid Brain……..it’s a thing, it’s real.
Thank Fauci for his glorious ‘gain of fuction’ and then denying those infected the proper medications to fight it.
Crimes Against Humanity.
He’s repeating what he did with HIV/AIDS patients, denying them the medications that would have easily prevented thousands of deaths. He’s a psychopathic serial killer.

I think we get caught up in the vaccine no vaccine discussion and forget the potential for the horrendous damage the virus itself can cause. Microclotting has been a halmark of covid from the beginning. And has been observed in both ‘serious’ (hospitalized) and ‘mild’ cases.
Same as myocarditis can be seen in ‘mild’ cases. (the myocarditis case that sticks in my mind is the high school track team from last year that all came down with mild cases and all exhibited myocarditis afterwards, which, iirc, was temporary with no complications)
grey matter atrophy. The brain, being a miraculous organ in itself, can try to compensate for atrophy by rerouting neuron networks. It’s probably the repair attempt, brain under construction, that makes people feel out of it and daily details get muddy.
There’s a whole lot written about it and ongoing studies, but for quick crib notes:
