I had to do a lot of setting changes to chase some malware out of my computer. Now everything works okay but I can't play the videos in Rumble. Youtube and netflix and hulu and all other videos play fine. Rumble has little icons instead of the pics listed on the videos and when I click on them they open the video window with a play button on the corner but don't play anything.

If you’re clicking on the arrow button, and they don’t play, try deleting the Rumble cookies from your cache, and try it again. That’s all I can recommend. I use Macs, and that usually fixes any problem I might have with a website not working properly.
Rumble videos don’t play on my computer either. I gave up trying.

You sometimes make odd and pointless posts and this is one of them.
Rumble might be imperfect but you can post video there and not worry about getting censored for your opinions.
If you prefer the spiffy graphics, functionality, and totalitarian environment of YouTube then so be it. But don’t pester people who prefer not to give clicks to the liberals.

Possibly a Windows Firewall setting or a newly installed anti virus software blocking the site?
If it was me, I’d pause any anti virus measures one at a time and see if I could isolate the issue.
I just tried a video and worked for me. My browser is Edge
No script or any kind of ad blocker might keep Rumble from working if they are not setup to allow certain things.
Then again you probably hit the “Let Microsoft decide what I can see” option.
Rumble videos play fine on my iPad and Mac. But about half of YouTube vids in Safari throw up an error message on a black screen saying they can’t be played. I gave up on that and open either Firefox or Chrome to get them to play.
I think you may be a bit overcritical.

Go to the browser and "save this page"
The page will download with a folder.
Once it's downloaded open the folder and look for the video.
Transfer the video to another location and delete the folder.
It’s almost a sure bet that Bitchute and Brighteon are going to have the same videos that Rumble does if you can’t get it to work.
Exactly. something is blocking it. Probably just a setting in the browser.
With my NoScript these 2 scripts have to be turned on. The others can remain off.
